Danby DUFM085A4BSLDD-6 8.5 Cu.ft. Upright Freezer Manual Defrost Mechanical Thermostat Estar

I am very pleased with my Danby freezer. It keeps food frozen solidly and freezes new foods quickly. Because it is an upright, it is very easy to access items; I use freezer baskets to organize. This freezer is very stylish does not scream "freezer" when you look at it. It looks more like a medium sized refrigerator. It runs quietly and efficiently. 5 stars!

This freezer is so stylish, I have it in my kitchen. It is very roomy, easy to freeze larger items like a turkey or pizza. I have been using it for 7 months now and defrosted last week. The process was fast and easy, took about 30 minutes.

The Danby upright freezer is exactly what I was looking for. The multiple shelfs make it easy to see what I have without a lot of digging through. We lost power for 48 hours and the freezer keep everything frozen, there was no sign of anything thawing. I am not sure one can say an appliance is attractive, but the freezer is an beautiful element in our pantry.

We really like this freezer. We had another one that was a little smaller and the size on this is just right. We are a couple. Really like the storage on the door. It's very easy to keep everything organized. We also like the section on the door because we never worry about what is the doors closed or not. We have the black and stainless one and it looks really nice in our utility room with our washer and dryer.

We absolutely love this freezer! For a "small" freezer, it holds a large amount of food. It's well laid out and is ascetically pleasingly. Its also very quiet and makes this cool vacuum hiss when closing the door. Extremely pleased with the unit and would highly recommend!

I defrosted it for the first time since my purchase this past summer. It defrosted quickly, I was done in about 30 minutes. Just unplug and wipe off the inside with a micro towel. I would suggest that you throw a towel down on the floor in front of the freezer though in case you get water on the floor. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Works great. Had this freezer for about 6 months and haven't had any problems. It is garage ready; I had emailed to confirm this as not all stores have this written in the product description. There is plenty of room as well! I waited a long time for this product due to Covid, and it was well worth it.

Works great! Didn't give it 5 stars because when we changed the door to open other direction the seal no longer worked. We contacted a technician listed for Danny products and he said it was best to put it back as it came from the manufacturer. Works just as it should now!

Nice size freeze, just what we wanted for our space in the garage. Freezer has performed perfectly for the six months we've had it, maintained temperature excellently. An interior light would be a nice additional feature, even if it added some cost, seems cheap without one.

Love it! The freezer is awesome and fit perfectly where I put it. The only problem we had was it had a dent in the front lower door about the size of a quarter when unboxed. We almost returned it for that reason but I needed it. I am very particular about anything we buy new but that was all.
