Danby DUFM085A4WDD Designer 8.5 Cu Ft Storage Upright Freezer Cooler, White

I purchased this freezer as a replacement for a similar Danby freezer which honked out after a decade of use. I am even more pleased with this newer model. It is an improvement from the previous model with better door racks. I searched far and wide for a freezer of this size and Danby was the only one which offered a suitable model. It is also the best priced option in this category. I confidently recommend this freezer!

We needed an additional freezer for our garage, but did not fancy the chest type where all food goods are stacked on top of each other. This gives us the same cubit feet, but 100 times more accessible.

This stand up freezer is the only way to go. Always see exactly what I want, no digging in a chest freezer. Extra space with the shelves on the door.

Easy to move around and works great. The shelves are good heights too

Wayfair had to replace first one because seal was broken and if formed about 10 inches of ice. But the replacement works great, maintains temp, no freezer burn and plenty of storage. Three wishes: Longer cord, light inside and a handle outside. Worth buying.

Freezer was very well packaged and I really like the 5 year warranty as my last freezer I purchased died after a few years. Upon opening the freezer I found the shelves to be built in and sturdy. I would have liked to see an additional shelf or the option to adjust the shelves. There's also a lot of exposed tubing which makes me concerned it will get knocked and damaged. Overall it does appear to be very solid.

VERY quite & spacious looks nice only downside: really should have more shelves, there is HUGE gap between shelves which makes it hard to organize things.

This is a fantastic freezer I rate at 4.5 stars. What would make it five star is a power on lite on the outside of the freezer.
