Dance Dance Revolution X for Playstation 2 PS2 - Game Only

Ok first let me say I own all the other DDR games. Is this the best? No, but its not the worst. However the loud and horribly obnoxious guy is louder then ever. When I first started playing I couldn't make through ten minutes of him. I searched online and found that you can turn off his comments through the main screen options. Are the songs great? Eh, some are ok. DDR max 2 is my favorite and this doesn't compare. I have not unlocked all of the songs yet so I cant say that they wont get better. Also I play the workout mode. If you do be sure to choose the option to end the heckling. It is not motivating to have somebody put you down when you are working out. Should you buy it? Its cheap so its worth the addition. I like to have a lot of variety. If you don't have any of the other DDR games I recommend getting others before this one. Search online you can listen to the songs before you decide which one has the best songs for you. Overall I love DDR. It has helped me loose over 50 pounds (combined with eating better). I enjoy it and its more fun then working out. Another tip. I have my game pad modified so it lasts. (current one has lasted four years.) Husband mounted it on plywood (oversized so that there are 6 inches extra on each size if the pad.) and plastic (carpet protector stuff from home depot stapled down on the edges so its still smooth where you dance) on top. I used to go through the pads every couple months. I store it leaned up against the wall. Also for extra cushion I lay a blanket underneath. Hope this helps.
