I love how easy it is to return items to Walmart, exceptional customer service .
It is unfortunate, but I was unable to install this aerator. The old aerator was glued to my faucet and I could not remove it, despite using a wrench. I would have loved to have it replace the old one, but couldn't get it installed through no fault of the product.
So much so I didn't need tools. The Danco aerator is pretty straight forward and easy to apply. It contains two washers (whichever fits your needs) and the aerator piece itself. Just unscrew the old one making sure you clean your threads and faucet, then screw on the new one. Tight fit works well so there is no leaking. I have been using it for maybe a little over a week now and steady as she goes. I have noticed no difference in pressure which is great as I thought maybe it would reduce my water pressure or have a weaker or smaller stream like some other aerators, not the case with this Danco one. No hissing, no odd spitting, or splashing (yes, I've noticed that with some aerators). Danco recommends either replacing the insert or aerator itself once a year to give optimum performance, I think this is probably a wise idea and will adhere to that. Seriously thinking of replacing all aerators in the house to one of these, with their finish options that would make it quite easy. Works for me, anything that can help reduce my water bill is a plus as we pay double the amount of what we use because that includes wastewater. Yes, I recommend! Good for me, good for the environment as well.
Danco 1.0 GPM Extra Water Saving Dual Thread Faucet Aerator in Chrome (10485) is really easy to install with the correct faucet of course. Once I installed the danco and turned the water on I saw the difference right away. It seemed to make the water pressure stronger and I saw more bubbles. When I turn the water on it I see and feel the difference when it comes out. I had no idea that the water saver needed to be changed. Now I know
I was able to install this by just taking off the old one with a pair of plyers and screw the new on. Easy Peasy. Instantly I noticed how the water flow changed and became almost airy. I don't know yet how much water it will save but it does seem to change the stream.
I bought this faucet aerator and wasn't happy with the slow flow. The aerator is an extra water saving aerator so I guess that's why the flow was so little. So in fact the aerator did what it was made to do, I just didn't personally like it.
item was not as described and was horrible..my faucet was spraying water all over the place and as far as being water saving it was just not as described
I don't know because it takes 2 1/2 weeks for delivery!!
will be returning the water comes out with a trickle not recommended
well it didn't work properly to start with and spewed water from the rim . Then within a couple of hours it broke completely!
