Everyone knows after some years your old tub spout gets corroded and looks just terrible. You could hire a plumber and spend a lot to replace it. The BEST option is to purchase this easy to install tub spout and diverted made by Danco. It has everything you need to make the installation simple and easy. Includes adapters, pipe joint tape and is simple to install. It might be challenging to remove your old spout but with a little time and patience it will come off. New one installs in minutes and works great. Tub spout works perfectly as does the shower diverted! The color is awesome and does t show the water spots as much as the old chrome one did.

This Tub Spout with built-in Diverter is nicely made. Metal with a black matte finish. Adapts to most standard stub out piping. In this case 1/2" copper tubing. All necessary parts for installation are included. Diverter moves easily and seals/diverts water to your shower without much effort and demonstrated no dripping. I would recommend this Danco 5" Tub Spout to DIY users without reservation. Installed easily and remains firmly in place.

This review is for the Danco Diverter tub spout part number 11079 in matte black. We have been watching out hardware and faucets one room at a time. This spout was a wonderful addition to our sons bathroom. This spout is compatible with 1/2 inch copper slip, 3/4 inch threading, 1/2 inch threading and 1/2 inch nose threading. This comes with adapters and pipe thread tape for convenient installation. This is made out of metal making it well made and durable. Easy to install and works just like it should. I highly recommend this spout to anyone!

This is a nice facet, the only reason that we have not installed it yet, is because we would have to go out and buy all the rest of the parts so that everything would match, which just might happen as I think it is very sharp looking. I would certainly recommend it if you are thinking of going black.

Despite being advertised as "universal" and suitable for various pipe sizes, the product was incompatible with my 3/4" threaded pipe, 3.5 in from the wall as it required a much shorter length to fit. Additionally, the included slip-on adapter did not fit the 3/4" pipe. i wanted to buy the adapter so contacted Danco but their reply was...... Thank you for choosing Danco products. We apologize for the inconvnience you have experienced. Unfortunately, we do not offer a tub spout designed to thread onto a 3-1/2" long threaded 3/4" pipe. Also, the slide on adapters with our tub spouts will fit 1/2" copper pipes and will not a 3/4" pipe. Unfortunately, after researching we cannot come up with a match for your application. We regret that we are unable to meet your need and will forward your request to our product managers for future consideration to obtain this tub spout fitting. We apologize for the inconvenience. so i had no choice but return.i cannot believe there's no adapter that can fit for this universal tub spout... and they don't want to help me. it was returned and now its at my local post office for so many days, return agent never picked up so my return detail shows only as return started...for so many days.... i need to buy new spout that fits 3/4 tub spout. i wasted so much time on this product that does not fit 3/4 stib out and i still don't have refund

The item itself can be easily assembled and installed to the pipe, however, the water still seem to leak out of the assembly, mainly from the plastic extension seemingly not sealing the water off properly.
