Danco Universal Bathroom Tub Spout with Diverter in Matte Black, 0.7 lbs. Weight (11079)

My first problem started with the original tub spout; there is no hex screw holding it on, so I assume I have a threaded tub spout. I can't twist it off, so I can't even be sure I have the necessary stub out. I took the new tub spout out of the package, and I do notice Danco has replaced the hex screw with a phillips screw on the compression washer. I like this because I dislike hex screws; they strip easily. I like the quality of the spout and the matte finish; however, for me, it is not going to be an easy install, even though it does come complete with adapters, pipe thread, and instructions. The issue is entirely on my end.

I recieved this product in exchange for an honest review . We havent installed it yet so I can't speak about that , but it does seem to be well made , not cheap plastic like alot that you buy these days . The instructions seem yo be clear and easy to follow . Over all from what I can tell it seems to be a great buy for the price !

We did need an adapter as the thread on the screw in bolt was smaller then the one that it connect to the water line but otherwise it functions perfectly and gives better water pressure

I am in love with my new Danco tub and shower faucet. I have it in matte black finish, and it is fabulous! I can't fully express how pleased I am with this faucet. Mine has the diverter. The tub spout has a sleek, modern look and it fits perfectly in my bathroom. My husband says installation was easy and straightforward. The instructions are clear and simple to follow. All of the pieces needed for installation are included. This faucet is made of durable metal. My old rusty silver tub spout had seen much better days, so this one really catches my eye and makes me happy every time I see it. This Danco faucet is so affordable, there is really no excuse for anyone to suffer with an old, leaking tub faucet any longer. This is an inexpensive way to give one's tub an up to date look, while saving money and water. I will be purchasing more products from Danco in the near future. This tub faucet has by far exceeded my expectations.

Just so beautiful. We are remodeling the bathroom this summer and I came across this. I wanted the darkest tone I could find and it is just perfect, I am slowly gathering all my side items. This I wanted right away. The quality is felt when you touch the items, heavy, thick and beautifully finished. When we complete the project, I will add a picure.

I love the look of this matte black tub spout. It's super modern looking and goes perfectly with the other matte black bath accessories I have. Our old spout was SO old, so this is a huge upgrade! I love that it came with everything we needed to install it, including the plumbers tape and adapters for easy installation.

This 5 inch tub spout with diverter, and a matte black finish, was easy to install and came with everything needed, including the plumbers tape. It matches my current Decour and functions as it should.

This is a nice facet, the only reason that we have not installed it yet, is because we would have to go out and buy all the rest of the parts so that everything would match, which just might happen as I think it is very sharp looking. I would certainly recommend it if you are thinking of going black.

The item itself can be easily assembled and installed to the pipe, however, the water still seem to leak out of the assembly, mainly from the plastic extension seemingly not sealing the water off properly.

Despite being advertised as "universal" and suitable for various pipe sizes, the product was incompatible with my 3/4" threaded pipe, 3.5 in from the wall as it required a much shorter length to fit. Additionally, the included slip-on adapter did not fit the 3/4" pipe. i wanted to buy the adapter so contacted Danco but their reply was...... Thank you for choosing Danco products. We apologize for the inconvnience you have experienced. Unfortunately, we do not offer a tub spout designed to thread onto a 3-1/2" long threaded 3/4" pipe. Also, the slide on adapters with our tub spouts will fit 1/2" copper pipes and will not a 3/4" pipe. Unfortunately, after researching we cannot come up with a match for your application. We regret that we are unable to meet your need and will forward your request to our product managers for future consideration to obtain this tub spout fitting. We apologize for the inconvenience. so i had no choice but return.i cannot believe there's no adapter that can fit for this universal tub spout... and they don't want to help me. it was returned and now its at my local post office for so many days, return agent never picked up so my return detail shows only as return started...for so many days.... i need to buy new spout that fits 3/4 tub spout. i wasted so much time on this product that does not fit 3/4 stib out and i still don't have refund
