This book was well written and relatable. The honesty of the author made me feel more comfortable in accepting my “stale” prayer life and stepping into a more “active and bold” prayer life. I did this book with a small group at church and the overall consensus was positive.

This book is not for the comfortably passive.
Going through this book in Sunday school and it both to read and hard to put down. In a good way. It's challenging if your faith is and challenging even if it's dynamic and growing. Be careful, the prayers inside are truly life changing. There's something scary in here for each Christian, truly. Scared of vulnerability or intimacy? He's got you covered. Love to live within your comfort zone? Yup, you, too. Like the simple, easy life? Prepare yourself, God has in mind so much more for us than we can imagine if we just hand over the steering wheel, and this book is an easy to understand primer on giving God control that's packed with challenging truths. Pick it up when you're ready. I highly recommend it.

Our pastors used this book for their sermons and we also used it for our life groups. Very easy read but so good!!! Anyone that wants to seriously follow God needs to read this book!!! A must read!!!!
