Danielle Steel 2 DVD Collection
I have read most of Danielle Steel's books. Her first book published was The Promise. That was my first book that I read and that got me hooked on Danielle Steel books. Since it has been many years since I have read her books, I cannot give a review on the first three movies on this set. But I can on "The Promise". Even though I read that book for the first time back in 1977, it still remains my favorite Danielle Steel book. The movie follows true to the book except that when reading the book before the watching the movie there is always more information that helps you get more in depth with the movie. I would suggest reading the book first and then watching the movie. It makes a great book and movie for a teenaged girl experiencing her first true love. And the great thing about this movie and the book is there is nothing in it about nudity or bad language. I hope this review helps someone else become a Danielle Steel fan. When you read the book, or watch the movie, have the tissues ready for the end. You will have tears running down your face. But that is not a bad thing. Think back to your first true love and you will understand. You will truly love this movie. Walmart.com also sells this book.

DVD 4 movie collection
Yes, I recommend this dvd set if you're a fan of Danielle Steel. I saw these movies on TV years ago and then rented this dvd set from the local library. I am sooo glad I found this on Walmart.com. "The Promise" is my favorite.

Palomino great for cowboy collection.
I bought two copies of this collection just for Palomino. It is a great movie with western theme and a really good cast including Lee Horsley a relative of mine and also a favorite actor. Both sets did not play the Secrets movie. I gave one as a gift so that was a disappointment, but for myself I would have paid the price for Palomino alone.
