Dan'l Boone Country Ham 2-6 Oz. Biscuit Slices Shelf Stable

We love country hand biscuits. We have eaten at Daniel Boone Inn in NC and was happy to see this advertise. Although I thought it was expensive, but it's Christmas! They were delivered as promised and double bag package. And being perfectly honest, they were the best country ham slices I've eaten, and I've been eating country ham for a long time. I will definitely buy these again and they are worth the price.

All thats required is a quick heating up. and theyre already biscuit sized. Tasty an̈d tender. Also salty (of course) so ya might want to give them a quick rinse before theyre cooked. Been so long, we ate them with all that glorious salt still there. packaged for freezing in case you need to save some for later.Recipes for gravy included.

I saw this product online, and the minute I saw it I wanted country ham. Really bad. So I ordered it, but I had to wait for shipment. While I waited, I continued to crave country ham until it arrived. By the day of delivery, I was pacing, waiting for my package. I had my biscuits ready. It arrived and I literally had it from the porch into the cast iron skillet in under 2 minutes. I took out 2 portions and put the rest away. A quick sizzle on each side and it was ready. The pieces are large and VERY thin, but they fried up nicely and I put them in my biscuit. The moment of truth. O.M.G. it did NOT disappoint. The flavor was perfectly delicious with just the right amount of salt. The slices were rimmed in a thin bit of fat, which rendered nicely and made a slightly crispy edge. Make sure you have good biscuits because this stuff is the real deal. I will absolutely be buying this again. Probably soon!
