Danton Whole Milk Yogurt has been my favorite for years! In all that time it has consistently maintained its quality and taste that keeps me coming back to purchase it every week. Try it yourself—if you’re ready to change from a sugar loaded, colored, and often artificially flavored “desert” product. It might shock your digestive system; but, it’s creamy goodness—and the fact that this yogurt is actually good for you—may make you a much healthier you!
This is honestly the best tasting plain yogurt I've tried. I've tried many different brands, and I always come back to this one. The texture is smooth and creamy, and the flavor is clean and not overly sour. It's perfect on its own or with fruit, honey, or granola. I also use it as a base to make my own yogurt at home, and it works perfectly every time — great consistency and results. Overall, this is my go-to yogurt now and I wouldn't switch to anything else. Highly recommend!
One of the BEST protein yogurts on the market- thick consistency like more expensive Greek yogurts and a great substitute for sour cream or dressings... add your OWN fruit or seasonings without all that extra sugar found in store bought flavored yogurt.
A Simple, Creamy Yogurt Base For Endless Possibilities I bought this quart because I wanted a plain, whole milk yogurt to use in cooking and for breakfast bowls. It's exactly what I was looking for: a simple, unflavored yogurt with a rich, creamy texture. The whole milk gives it a lovely, full mouthfeel that's much more satisfying than non-fat versions. The flavor is mildly tangy and fresh, not sour or overly sharp. It's a perfect blank canvas. I've used it to make a creamy cucumber sauce, as a topping for chili in place of sour cream, and mixed with honey and fruit for breakfast. It performs perfectly in every role. A common question is about thickness, and I'd say it's a classic, spoonable yogurt consistency—not as thick as Greek yogurt, but not runny at all. The 32 oz quart is a practical size for a household that uses yogurt regularly. My only very small note is that because it's a natural product, a little liquid (whey) can separate on top, but you can either stir it back in or pour it off depending on your preference. It's become a versatile staple in my fridge. I'm hoping the quality and simplicity stay just like this, because it's incredibly useful to have on hand.
With all the choices in yogurts, I find this one as the best. (My second choice is Great Value plain nonfat Greek yogurt) To my finicky palate, it tastes like melted ice cream. Smooth and mild. I like to add my own fruits and omit the added sweeteners some yogurts add. And the yogurt is JUST yogurt and not a conglomeration of yogurt with added stabilizers and gums. With this brand, you can strain the yogurt to make a denser Greek-style yogurt and use the whey in a smoothie.
Cannon is always great, no matter the flavor. I like the plain version because it’s easy to use in lots of recipes and can be made into anything you like by adding fresh fruit or fresh herbs to create your own favorites. I can even make quick Greek yogurt by putting some in a strainer with a filter (I use a coffee filter) and let it sit for a while. The longer it sits this way, the firmer it gets. Enjoy!
It’s hard to find full fat yogurt but it’s important to help you feel full. Protein count is great and also filling with the fat content. It tastes wonderful when you add berries or peaches to half a cup yogurt, maybe a little honey if you need it sweeter. It’s a whole lot better for you than premade yogurt when you don’t know how much artificial sweetener is in it. Summer peaches with blueberries in a little bit of this yogurt is delicious.
This is a great product that I purchase often and would give it 5 stars. I gave it 4 stars though bc there have been a couple of times that the aluminium foil seal under the cap had been broken which allowed bad bacteria to get inside the container and adversely affect the taste and consistency of the yogurt. To get around this just remove the plastic lid to ensure the aluminium foil barrier is properly sealed.
NO!! At first I thought it had gone bad. Sorry, Dannon. I thought I could doctor it up with flavor and ordered it because it had whole milk fat in it which is rare but good for dieting, but no, there was a taste that I could not get passed. It was also like soup, very liquidy. I'll have to toss it out. :-(
THERE WAS DIRT UNDER THE LID LIKE IT WAS PLACED THERE‼️I USED THE LID TO BRUSH IT OFF. WHO ARE THESE "EMPLOYEES" HANDLING DELIVERY ORDERS⁉️ARE THERE NO CAMERAS CAPTURING THEM DOING THIS❓️ARE THEY ALONE SOMEWHERE WITHOUT SURVEILANCE⁉️ THIS HAS TO B THE MILLIONTH DAMAGED/MISHANDLED/CONTAMINATED PRODUCT I HAVE RECIEVED FROM WALMART IN PEACHTREE CITY. THEY ARE DIRTY AND DISGUSTING. CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL NOT TAKE THESE OFFENSES SERIOUSLY NOR DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, SO I STOPPED CALLING. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. AN INTERNAL INVESTIGATON HAS TO HAPPEN BY A 3RD UNBIASED PERSON WHO WILL TELL THE TRUTH AND NOT COVER UP ANYTHINY.
