These cats are even more lovely in person than I expected! Now I'm torn between giving them for Christmas and keeping them for myself!

Nice Idea, Poor Execution
I wanted to give these to my daughter. The first shipment was damaged and had to be returned. Walmart customer service was terrific. Unfortunately the same thing happens with the second order. The quality was lacking, but the customer service was great.

They are solid pieces. Clean and good for being on sale. My only concern is that if they will truly hold up to the weight of books if they are truly used as bookends for more than 3 or 4 books. Maybe if they had more weight at the bottom for stability, but for the material they are made out of they will do just fine for smaller shelf collections.

Lighter than description says
Smaller and much lighter than we expected. Description said over three (3) pounds "net weight," or more than 1 1/2 lbs each. That would be enough to hold up some books. However, they do not weigh anywhere near that much, thus cannot hold up books. We set them beside other bookends. Do NOT recommend if you plan to use them as "real" bookends.
