DAP Barrier White 12 oz Multi Purpose Project Foam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lightweight foam is a great insulator and sealant. My son got a chance to use this on a shop project as a finishing touch to a bird house. It has worked great at keeping out the rain and helping them stay warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to use. I love that the attachment comes with it. Storage is super easy and it takes up very little space. The texture is nice and it seals up nicely. I'd highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used DAP brand foams for a long time now. Even their basic foams are noticeably better than other brands that tend to be more difficult to clean and the can is single-use only due to their straw getting clogged. I am even more impressed with this DAP multi-project foam due to it being so multipurposal. I have purchased different cans of foam in the past for small or large gaps, and have purchased separate cans when using inside a wall for fire blocking. This can does it all! It is light when sprayed, but expands easily. It also cleans easily when the foam expands too much. It's a nice bonus to get a 2nd straw, but I doubt I'll need it because the product cleans so easily. I honestly don't see any reason to buy any other foam product...again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a gap between drywall and concrete block that I needed to fill. The foam dispensed easily, although make sure the trigger assembly is tightly attached. The instructions said not to overfill, allowing room for expansion - no more than 1/3 full. So I put some foam in the space and there was some expansion, but it didn't entirely fill the gap ... so I added more ... past the 1/3 full. Well, as it dried it expanded more. I will now be following the the instructions that excess foam can be trimmed or sanded. Happy to get the gap filled. (I had a great pic, but it must not have been in the correct format.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I JUST REMODELED MY LAUNDRY ROOM AND I HAD TO SEAL AROUND MY LAUNDRY VENT. IT DID A WONDERFUL JOB. IT WAS VERY EASY TO USE. YOU CAN GET IN TIGHT PLACES OR WIDE OPEN SPACES. IT FILLS IN GAPS ANYWHERE AROUND YOUR HOUSE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT.

Every morning I would go downstairs to find a fresh new batch of ladybugs around the house. They were obviously coming from somewhere outside. My house had a few cracks and I couldn't pinpoint exactly which one they were coming from. After an application of this product on the cracks the problem was solved! Easy and Quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the dap barrier foam to fill some outside cracks on my porch foundation. I wants to keep animals from living under there. Dap, did the job but had a few issues that may be user error. Directions say to only fill one third as foam will expand. This is true but I didn't expect expansion outward as well as upward to didn't end up with clean lines. Before I finished the can and the areas I wanted to fill the straw got clogged and came off. Kit comes with a second straw, but couldn't get on so had to give up. Nozzle was too clogged. Wear gloves as instructed. The foam gets messy. I immediately threw out my gloves and the can as soon as I was done. The foam itself is doing an effective job as a barrier so with experience I hope I can do better and be more precise.
