DAP DryDex 32 oz Pink/White Dry Time Indicator Spackling

I am new to the dry wall experience %26 this product provided answers to allot of unknowns at the time. Things I Liked: * Consistency - Premix is convenient, no mess, no guess and Is smooth %26 did not dry too fast. * The pink color when applying help show thickness %26 where I had already put some. * The right amount in container for touchups on chips, cracks, dents and a couple good sized door knob holes %26 a 2x2 wall repair.

I'm a 24 year old… just bought my first house. I was able to successfully patch about 15 half-inch holes with ease then paint. I recommend putting some on a paper plate versus working out of the container! Great stuff for someone learning how to be a homeowner!

I didn't want to purchase a more expensive product to even out some large holes on my wall. This product did the trick! I will continue to use as I work on projects at home!

Great ABs easy to use product. I love that it goes on pink and turns to white as it dries. It's super easy to use. It comes in a tub that's a confident size to hold on to. The color change makes easier to decide if it's time to sand or not. I'll definitely use this product again.

Quality product. Easy to use and covers, fills in everything nicely. Impressive and I bought more so to have on hand. Can't go wrong buying, happy I did and will continue to.

I have used regular spackling but the pink that changes to white when it's dry means that it's ready to sand and paint so I don't have to watch the clock and I like that.

The 32 oz is a great deal if you have more than just a tiny project. As described, it changes color to white when it's dry. Personally I still like to give it a little longer before I sand but the color change is also helpful so you can easily tell where you've already applied spackle. It is easy to apply and is a good consistency to work with, even on ceilings where gravity can present challenges. Make sure you put the lid back on if you're going to work a while so it doesn't dry out! I've screwed up using the normal white spackle before by letting the container dry too much and then the next time I used it the spackle was a little too hard. With this kind, you can at least see when the container is getting dry with the color change.

There's a wall that has some water issues and over time mold has developed. I've used this product many times but with this wall it was almost too big a surface area to apply with a scraping tool. I applied a silicone caulk first but will need to fill large areas again. The spackle helps to cover the mold and seal it in.
