DAP Plastic Wood Walnut 6 oz All Purpose Wood Filler

Great product does what it's suppose to. Matched up great with my bathroom floor. aI will say it seems really steep on the price for a very small amount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not aware of Dap's plastic latex wood filler, but I tried it for the first time on a small wooden table that had obtained a couple dents and cracks on the top of the table. After cleaning the top, I applied the filler to the couple holes in the table and let it dry overnight. The next day I sanded and repainted the top. The product worked well, easy to apply with easily spreading the filler. Afterwards the table top had a smooth surface that you could not tell that it previously had holes in it. I'm happy with the results and the kids happy that the holes are gone on the table. If I'm in need of a wood filler, I would buy this product again and would recommend.

Pliable... A little water helps get it in crevices. Varnish doesn't cover it too well. But it did the job. Plugged the cracks in floor.

I'm filling some glue-lam beams that have separated between the plies slightly. Not structurally a problem, but more astetically an issue. The tubs and tubes are difficult to apply in my case, and the quick dry time makes it challenging to get into the groves (1/2 - 1 inch deep and 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide). I have tried loading the product up in a clean blank tube of caulk with good success, but loading it is a pain and messy. Would be great to offer this in a caulk tube where the tip size could be varied and it would help it get into deep grooves or cracks and could be used for longer fill scenarios. Do caulk tubes of this product exist?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to fill some cracks along molding I had taken down and then had to replace. Also use it along the moulding install to fill the gaps. It worked well but because I had it in the tub format it didn't work so well for what I was doing. That said, the product itself was great and I think in the tub probably works wonderfully for exactly what I needed. This product was simple to use, dried easily and we painted over it no problem.

I got this squeeze tube instead of a can cause I only needed a little to fill a couple holes on my project. Second squeeze the back end came apart and about a 1/3 came out at once. Well I put it in a ziplock bag but I think it will still dry out. BTW I was NOT squeezing too hard and I had cut the end of the tip off so the other end was open.

Product says nail and screw anchoring. I used this in solid wood to fill screw holes. There is no way this product is strong enough to anchor screws with even light tension. It is very misleading or just untrue. Now I have to clean out the filled holes and fill with something stronger. More work for me. I filled some wood scratches and gouges in wood and it worked just fine for that. It was easy to apply smoothly and sanded easily.

i bot a 6 Oz tube of white and used it once less than a year later went to use it and it so dry its hard to get out of the tube. online chat says i can add water a knead it around. prob push hard material into the tube and add water but i will stick to glue and saw dust
