Seems like a good product good shipping
This is the second time I've bought this product. Far superior to old fashioned super glue. It is a gel, sets quickly and adheres to most surfaces.
We love this product and we cannot get it locally.
We (wife and myself) have a refrigerator that we purchased not long ago. Two weeks after the warranty expired (90 days), one of the door handles (main door) broke off. I tried every glue imaginable, including "special plastic glue", epoxy glue, and some others, to try to repair the handle. Nothing worked because just after just a few door pulls, the handle would break off again. Then, to make matters worse, two of the INSIDE plastic door dividers broke completely in half. Of course none of the glues would repair these plastic parts either. Then, just a few days ago, while at Walmart, I happen to see the DAP glue we are now discussing. It was expensive (I thought so,.....$6.00 for LESS than an ounce) and then making a "compulsive decision";, I bought the glue thinking, "What the Heck, One More Try) As soon as I got home, the FIRST THING I DID was grab the door handle, put some glue on the top and bottom where it broke, pushed into place,.......held it for about 30 seconds.......then let go. So far, so good. I let it set for about an hour while I did other things, then came back to give the door handle it's "Final and Last Test".. I opened and closed the refrigerator door AT LEAST 200 TIMES..........THE GLUE HELD !!! I WAS LITERALLY SHOCKED !!! I was so excited I phoned my wife at work to tell her. She couldn't believe it herself until she got home..............and by that time, I had also glued the broken inside door shelf divers and they held together also !!! That was one week ago and we use the refrigerator every day (often) and the glue shows no sign, whatsoever, of fatigue or looks like it's about to break again. DAP.............YOU HAVE AN AMAZING PRODUCT !!!!
it dries quickly, easy to apply since it's a gel not a liquid.
Awesome Product
I have bought this DAP glue four times and used it successfully on several projects. I was able to attach some wood trim strips on my kitchen cabinets without nailing, and also repaired bed comforter that was coming apart. I have found with some plastics it does not work, even if you hold the pieces together for a minute. Also, despite capping the bottle tightly, the glue will harden and be useless at some point. Since it is expensive consider if you will use most of it before it hardens.
The Glue is solidated when I received it,I tried to return and complain , but no feedback
Actually, I can't review it because Walmart sent me the wrong stuff - I ordered RapidFuse All Purpose Adhesive - they sent me Super Glue - not the same stuff at all - then when i tried to expain the difference to the customer support girl, it was a real hassle and ended up getting less money back then I paid - I wasn't happy at all - this isn't something that will cause me to stop shopping at Walmart, but just upset me
Both bottle of Dap all purpose adhesive 0.85 is dried inside both bottles. I am shocked as it cannot be used. The glue is rock hard and the cost is $19.00. Of course I cannot use it. I am upset about this purchase as it is preventable before packing the items in QUALITY CONTROL. There wasn't any of that.
