Smooth spray, quick dry. Shipping a touch slow.
Sprays on smoothly. Did not run easily. Very quick to dry. I was specifically looking for a matte black and I expect the "Automotive" designation to mean this adheres better and handles higher temperatures than an ordinary primer. Shipping was slow because it turned out to be out of stock even though delivery was stated to be 2 days. Nevertheless, it is a good product.

Will shop for another primer...
If you don't mind transparent primer, this is the primer for you. No matter how many coats, you can still somewhat see through it. Possibly it has other attributes, but I am not used to sandable white primer that is transparent. Just doesn't seem right for that to happen with primer.

Do NOT waste your time
In the process of repainting my truck, and thought It'd be a good idea to buy these cans because they're a larger size than the normal ones I use. Worst idea ever. I wasted almost $100 by buying 10 cans. After painting just the hood, went to check it and saw the entire hood was covered in a coat of paint dust! So I had to resand the hood to start again. During sanding, I noticed after using 4 cans of this stuff, over 3/4 of it didn't even stick to the hood! I gave it the a second chance thinking maybe I didn't shake the can well enough, and it still left dust! Never will I ever waste my time and money on this crap again.
