One of my go to's for red wine. Im typically not a fan of reds, but I have grown to love this brand of red blend. It doesn't have such a dry taste like a lot of other red wines. Dark Horse brands are affordable and convenient as well. All around win for this wine :)

I bought this wine for the first time to make a risotto, I didn't knew the brand and just bought bc it seemed a good inexpensive option. once I opened and tried I fell in love. Very smooth red, basic and well made. Not lot os hard tannins, but enough to.make the wine basic yet wel elaborated. velvety and smooth, if you like that warm berry flavor withoutthe sweetness, go for it.

I really enjoyed this wine. Very smooth flavor good after taste. I personally like the labeling and the price is not bad at all!! I've tried a few different ones from dark horse and so far I have not found one that disappointed me! Highly recommend this to all wine lovers

This wine is perfect for dinner parties because it's reasonably priced, great quality, and pairs with a lot of different foods wonderfully. It's not too dry and not too sweet, hopefully a happy medium for all party guests!

One of the better deals, is if you purchase Dark Horse Big Red Wine. This is a great bargain, and tastes more expensive than it is. My hat off to the proprietor, as this California blend is delicious. You can knock down a bottle of this, if you're a man of my size, and don't pay attention to what you're doing. It's a combination of flavorful red, medium in body, and at the right level of sweetness. A good one with beef dishes, or snacks such as crackers and cheese. I like to smoke a cigar occasionally, and with this wine, a pleasant experience. Sometimes I have difficulty finding it. A lot of this could be, that it's well liked. Also I'm on the east coast. This is one good for get togethers. That's because it's a safe, almost affable pick. Please be responsible. Have a designated driver, or stay where you're at.
