Dark Knight, The (Dbl BD) (Blu-ray Special Edition) [Blu-ray]

I think that "The Dark Knight" was an amazing and exciting Batman film and it was also one of my favorite Batman films of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the action, mystery, suspense and personal drama that kept this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that this film had a really great cast, plot and storylines as well.

Bought this movie for Christmas and was very pleased to see it included a Digital Version of the movie for use on a Computer or Video Player... I just received a Creative Zen 8GB and couldn't wait to try out the video on my player--- excellent color, excellent sound.. Definately a great bonus that I'd love to see on future videos I purchase.

Great movie packed with suspense & action. [The late] Heath Ledger's role as the character the Joker was superb; he was one wicked/psycho of a clown!! Yes, he deserves an academy award for this one. As for the voice of batman; the producers could have done a better job.

Blue ray makes this movie come to life. Very good movie.

Joker Rules!!!

Everyone knows that this is one of the best action movie of 2008. You can watch it over and over again and still want more. So what does blu-ray brings to this movie. Well it gets you the closest possible experience of this movie as presented in an IMAX theatre. Assuming you have a blu-ray player and a 16X9 (Widescreen) HDTV and 5.1 Tru surround sound, you can get that experience. The Blu-Ray features the scenes shot in IMAX cameras in their original Wider format. So what does that mean. Well when you are watching the movie, the scenes not shot with IMAX have black bars on the top and bottom of your screen because 35mm is a smaller frame. But when a scene is shot in IMAX it seemlessly goes wider and covers the whole screen. Not just that, the extra detail and vibrant colors of IMAX, broader view and its quality is clearly visible. This BluRay might be a few more bucks than the regular DVD but with all the bonus features (2 Blu-Rays), plus a digital copy DVD, its worth all the money for whoever owns a bluray player and an HDTV, and 5.1 tru surround system is a plus if you want the full experience.

This is a good Blu-Ray purchase. I highly recommend to watch it with Dolby True HD. For this you will need a Dolby True HD capable receiver but it is worth it. The highway underground chase scene with the armored truck is truely comes to life with the blu-ray version.

First of all, I want to say that the experience ordering online and receiving the product from WalMart was first rate. A satisfying experience. As far as the Dark Knight is concerned, it's an excellent movie. I had heard so many glowing reviews before I saw it, there was certainly a risk of me having ultra high expectations, then being disappointed. But I was not disappointed. It's a fine movie, whether you're a Batman fan or not. And yes, what you've probably heard about Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker is true - excellent! This is only one of three BluRay movies I have so far. I'm new to that technology. The detail is incredible - some scenes are like 3D. Get this movie. And ordering online from WalMart was easy and delivery was as promised. Very good.

I have seen the movie in theaters but at home, with surround sound, it is so much better! Love the fact that the Blu-Ray movies come with a digital copy so I just open iTunes, load it into my computer, enter the password provided to "unlock" the copy, and it downloads as a movie. I then put it on my iPhone! The graphics are amazing! You should definitely buy!
