I am transported back to the 1960's! My siblings and I LOVED this show. It's not scary by today's standards, but we were scared. Anyone who enjoyed this show back in the day will enjoy reliving the series. Better yet - no commercials! Shh, the coffin has a surprise when you open it - the corpse of Barnabus Collins, shown on the edges of the DVD cases! Cool Touch!

I am 48, I have been a very big fan of Dark Shadows since middle school. I seen this deluxe edition online and for me it was a must have. The shipping was fast, it came a day earlier. The product was wrapped in plastic and boxed very neatly .The coffin is in excellent condition so are the DVDs as far as I can tell. I haven't checked every single one. Everything has exceeded my expectations. Product is a little pricey but it's worth it to me. The dvds are in 4:3 ratio as stated on the box but it would have been better if it was in fullscreen.

This item was a gift. It's a larger item than I thought it would be. The aesthetic is fabulous! The reciever was so so happy!

love it ,had been waiting for price to go down for a year at walmart .com finally checked one day and there it was cheaper than before, ordered it immediately ..

It's all coming back to me now. Very entertaining. Too bad there was no packing material in the large box this was loosely shipped in, thus the collector box was trashed in transit.

Definitely impressed with the packaging and actual box that the DVDs came in....top quality. The first few DVDs of the series I don't remember as a child and find them a little boring, but I look forward to seeing Barnabos and Angelic. Also finding some sound fluctuations, but that could be that I am watching them on an HD TV.

The only problem I have is that paying that much money for something that is not packaged and sealed makes me wonder is it new or returned from someone else. Other than that watching it now and the quality is great.

The first set of dvd would play, then freeze up. I'm going to clean them and see if that works. If not I don't know what to do.
