Dark Side of the Moon - Roasted by Blossom Coffee Roasters - Freshly Ground Coffee - 5 Pound Bag

Dark Side of the Moon is one of my favorites - I've ordered it several times, now. If you like dark roast, I'd definitely recommend this one! Plus, one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums. I'll have to try them together.

Pink Floyd and coffee what could go wrong? I don't normally go for dark roasts, but I gave this one a try and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is my stepping stone into specialty coffee. I used 25g of coffee with 390 ml of water in a 3 cup chemex and I got an amazing cup of coffee, may be the best I have ever tasted.

We use a very good burr grinder and a ver good drip machine that actually "blooms" the grounds first. That said, Dark Side continues to be one of of our favorite coffees. It is dark chocolate forward with deep caramel and mild nutty tones. Low acidity and well balanced. While it is a darker blend, it is not smoky, or overly toasty or otherwise suffer from some of those "over roasted" issues some dark blends can have. A truly well-crafted bean.

Excellent blend. I can taste all of the notes described when using the cold brew method. Steeping around 19-20 hours is perfect, anything more will bring out too much acidity and anything less will make it watered down. I look forward to trying other brewing methods with this blend; really solid all around.

Having my coffee delivered made my Monday so thanks. Both bags of your coffee are in my freezer right now but I expect they are superb. So glad I have them as I'm almost finished with what I have now.

I am not generally a dark roast drinker, when this coffer claimed to be "just dark enough" I had to try it. normally I consider a dark roast as a waste of good beans, I was proven wrong! this coffee is delightful, not overly cooked, and still retaining a wonderful flavor profile. I gave only 4 stars based solely on my preference for lighter coffees.
