Dark Skies: The Declassified Complete Series

I loved this show all those years ago when it first came out, and I love it now. There have been many movies and series made about the Sixties, but this is the only one that really gets it right. So glad they brought this to disk so I can enjoy it again.

I had never seen this show before, but I enjoyed it very much. Of course you have to be very open minded to some of the episodes. It's a stretch to imagine history occured as it is described in this show. There are really great actors in this series. Special effects run from very good to the laughable. It's priced right and packaged well. If you like aliens and their plots to take over our world, you'll love this one.

I have been looking for this TV series for a while, ever since older TV series were being reproduced on the DVD format. At the time it was originally broadcasted, I wished that it would have continued, because I didn't like the way it ended. In those days the network didn't give the writers of a show much time to properly bring a series to a close, so the ending was rushed & incomplete. The network in it's infinite wisdom of what they think the masses want to watch & the all mighty dollar they receive from advertisement, brought this series to an end & left us all without closure. As I watched this series, I was happy to once again be able to see it. It was more enjoyable this time, because I didn't have to watch any stupid commercials. But at the end of the last episode, I was again reminded of how disappointed I was to see it come to an end. Despite not having closure, I really enjoyed watching this TV series once again & I am very glad to be able to have it in my video library.

Could not find this DVD anywhere? And while it isn't as good as FALLING SKIES on TV now it is interesting becasue it follows the rumors about Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 thru the sixties. JUST try to explain the sighting in March of 1993 in PHX, Az and other places that the object was exactlly alike? WALMART appears to have everything I need!!!

I have not finished watching the series but I do enjoy it. It reminds me of the the X-files though more focused on E.T.'s during the 60's. The series does disappoint me in that the E.T.'s have such a negative agenda with mankind which then sets-up the viewers mindset into thinking we must develop better weapons to destroy them. It could be that we actually do have a variety of E.T's on the planet and just as with people, most are good. Once again the media focuses on the negative ones.

It doesn't have Closed Captioning. I can't hear tv speaks without CC.
