Darrell Lea Soft Eating Original Flavor Licorice Bites, 7 oz. Regular Bag

I was told that this is a high level brand for obtaining true licorice and one of the strongest in taste. I had been thinking the taste would be way heavier because of how it was described to me, but it's fairly gentle. It also is imported from Australia. Also, the high level it has of true licoriceis said to be more useful for calming stomach issues, which it has done for me numberous times. I had been told 3 would be enough to get benefits, but 1 or 2 typically give me results.

My son-in-law loves licorice and especially loves this brand. It is apparently has a strong flavor -- which he refers to as "fierce". And what my daughter says is the licorice of choice for "manly men". So, if you're really fond of licorice, this may be the best choice.

I am so glad I gave these a try. These are the best black licorice I have ever had. Their flavor is off the chart along with the chewy texture. Will definitely be buying these again and again.

What I like is it not hard, it soft and fresh. Like the taste too.

I thoroughly enjoy black licorice, cheap and expensive. Each is a simple bite, a bite large for me, very sticky and a flavorful taste. Unfortunately this taste did not appeal to meat all, which really surprised me as no black licorice has ever disappointed me. I suppose nothing ….or very little, is 100-%. And you , hopefully, will love this flavor.

not that "licorice-y" and expensive ($6) for the small bag. won't buy again.
