Starting from the beginning. I own a 1997 Chevy Camaro. I just had the engine replaced about 1 month ago. Drove 500 miles and changed oil with Castrol GTX. After 600 miles my engine developed a loud chatter. This engine has a roller cam and I should hear some noise but louder than usual. I came to the conclusion that this oil sucks. Changed oil again today with 10w30 Advanced durability Quaker state and what an impressive result! Very quiet and smoother operation. Thanks Quaker state. Your oil is most important to my ride from now on.
Been using 5W-30 Advanced Durability conventional oil in my supercharged Buick Park Avenue for 25k miles since owning the car. Not one single problem and the oil runs quiet and smooth. No matter if it's 100 degrees above or below zero in the dead of winter, car starts and runs smoothly every time! What's better is QS oil is priced a lot cheaper than the rest and works just as good! I expect to get several more thousand miles out of this car and engine before it gets traded in for something else. I plan to keep on using QS for the foreseeable future! Have to try some in my lawnmower and snowblower as well. Use this oil with confidence, your engine will love it!
Ok, just an update today. I changed oil today at 3000 miles with Quaker state Advanced durability 10w/30 in my 1997 Camaro. Engine is running even smoother now. Truly unbelievable. I must've have gotten rid of that Castrol once and for all that was in the lifters and bearings. Great oil at a great price.
I've been using your product( the conventional advanced durability) in my 2003 buick century (its my first car) and let me tell you, the car runs so much quieter and you can't feel one vibration of the car when you pet quaker state in it, been driving for 2 years now and this is the only product ill use in my daily commuters. Thanks quaker state for this fine product.
I am 53 years old and have using Quaker State in my vehicles since my 1st car at age 16. My uncle started me using it then and i've never had reason to stop. Never have i had any problems what-so-ever and will continue to be a lifetime user. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Don't use anything but the best for my Mopars and recommend it to all of my friends. If you want quality, Quaker State is the only way to go, I've spent too little on some oils, and too much as well, but QS has never sold me a bad batch unlike the rest! Thanks Quaker State! Happy Holidays from Anthony Ernst Jr.!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I tried QS in the past on my 98 Corolla, and I didnt like the results. I found I was burning oil faster with QS than other brands. But in Sept 2014, I put dino QS in my 2004 4Runner and it has never run smoother. Whatever QS did to the SN version of the oil has sold me. Ive used high priced synthetics that didnt impress me as much as these last 2 QS conventional oil changes
I have used Quaker State Motor Oil since I started driving my first car that I still have 1969 Chevelle SS396. I started driving in 1979. I used Quaker State because it was Refined from Pennsylvana Grade Crude Oil. I have a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L V-8. And it gets Quaker State. I still have 4 cans Full of Penn Grade Quaker State Oil that I have saved over the 36 yrs that I have been driving. Thank You Quaker State for making such a fine product to protect my engines.
I'm glad we finally got your product at our shop or will be as of the 1st but I'll use by his product and feel comfortable knowing something I like will go in customers vehicles and knowing it'll be great for their engines meaning less maintenance for them in the future [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I own many vehicles and as a mechanic by trade I work on and service a lot of my friends and families vehicles as well, and I wouldn't say this is the oil I use and recommend to people because I feel it is the best all-round oil that works good and is affordable.
