I blend with my other nut butters with manuka raw honey or manuka hunters. Dastony 100% Brazil nut butter is light flavor compared to a peanut (stronger flavor) type butter. Shook the jar to move the oil around and refrigerated about 2 hrs., to completely blend product then refrigerated until the next morning for my breaking fast... First I sampled it before my bread and nut butter with Manuka honey. Dastony 100% came with a usable expire date: 12/23/26. I don't use my butters as a snack. Whole unsalted deluxe blend of nuts are a snack. It's a fun fact knowing I bought one. The handling was packed different. The shipping arrived a couple of days before expected.
This butter has it all!. I take it for the selenium content which is really good for you and the flavor is amazing. I do not like peanut butter so this is perfect for me. I put it on my sourdough toast with a home made jelly, or dip apple wedges on it for a tasty pack of nutrients snack.
Great range & excellent quality. No nasties, one ingredient only which I prefer. Wish they were a little cheaper but otherwise zero complaints. I eat it straight from the jar
Brazil Nut is one of my favorite nuts, but I never tried it as butter spread until I came across Dastony Organic Brazil Nut Butter. I fell in love with its taste instantly. The taste is great and the ingredients used to make the butter are all organic. I highly recommend it!
I got this to boost my magnesium levels, as Brazil nuts are known to have a good amount in them. Little did I know how yummy it would be! I made waffles the other day and put some of this Brazil nut butter on them with a little maple syrup on top and it tasted magnificent. Suggested that to my husband and son, and they fell in love with it immediately! Of course the quality of the organic nuts in the butter must be responsible for the great flavor - organic just tastes better. And that's all there is in this, raw, stone ground, certified organic Brazil nuts. I'm looking forward to creating some original recipes using this delicious Brazil nut butter. The label suggests using it as a base for salad dressings and drizzles on oatmeal or in smoothies, as well as for making nut milk. It's pretty spendy for a compact 8 oz jar, but it's worth it if you love nuts and need the magnesium.
Unfortunately the price of this nut butter has quadrupled and o can no longer afford it. However it is pure, tastes amazing, a good size tub and strong packaging to withstand international shipping. The benefit of this brand is that it has higher mineral content than most other but butters. The composition will separate so it does need a good mixing. Such a good binder ingredient for protein ball recipes. Quality is exceptional compared to supermarket products.
The quality seems fine, the taste is of fresh nuts, but I am not a fan of the brazil nit flavor. It is a little hard for me to eat this unless I mask the taste with a bunch of other ingredients. For example, in energy bombs or cookies. The quantity is nice. The oil has separated, so open carefully and churn before using.
I know nut butters get oil separation, but this was like half stone-haes half liquid, makingit impossible to mix again As all Dastony butteea this comes in a plastic jar instead of glass, making it easier for transport (so smaller carbon footprint) but not sure about microplastics mixing in...
Mixed separated oil back into solids and put into refrigerator as recommended. Using a spoonful as a keto treat. Won't buy again as it tastes bad and coats your mouth. Good news is you won't want to eat anything for a while. .
Terrible product. When the item arrived I immediately opened it. It smelled terrible and there was pure liquid on top and maybe an inch of rock hard goo on the bottom. I attempted to stir it but after half an hour the liquid and rock hard goo were still separated. There is no refund for this defective and disgusting product. DO NOT BUY.
