I blend with my other nut butters with manuka raw honey or manuka hunters. Dastony 100% Brazil nut butter is light flavor compared to a peanut (stronger flavor) type butter. Shook the jar to move the oil around and refrigerated about 2 hrs., to completely blend product then refrigerated until the next morning for my breaking fast... First I sampled it before my bread and nut butter with Manuka honey. Dastony 100% came with a usable expire date: 12/23/26. I don't use my butters as a snack. Whole unsalted deluxe blend of nuts are a snack. It's a fun fact knowing I bought one. The handling was packed different. The shipping arrived a couple of days before expected.
This brazil nut butter has a smooth soft consistency. Just adding a tiny amount to your casseroles etc. adds a wonderful flavor to many dishes. Plus it's a healthy and good source of selenium for vegans. I love that the only ingredient is brazil nuts.
This pure nut butter is a game-changer. With just one simple ingredient - roasted nuts - it delivers an amazingly creamy, flavorful spread that's packed with plant-based nutrition. I love how versatile it is, perfect for toast, smoothies, baking, and more. A pantry essential for any health-conscious foodie.
Unfortunately the price of this nut butter has quadrupled and o can no longer afford it. However it is pure, tastes amazing, a good size tub and strong packaging to withstand international shipping. The benefit of this brand is that it has higher mineral content than most other but butters. The composition will separate so it does need a good mixing. Such a good binder ingredient for protein ball recipes. Quality is exceptional compared to supermarket products.
Brazil Nut is one of my favorite nuts, but I never tried it as butter spread until I came across Dastony Organic Brazil Nut Butter. I fell in love with its taste instantly. The taste is great and the ingredients used to make the butter are all organic. I highly recommend it!
This nut butter tastes fresh and has a really smooth texture. Good quality product. I love that there are no additives…just nuts. However, there is a LOT of oil, and it is extremely difficult to mix this butter up the first time. I splashed oil everywhere! I recommend wearing an apron and stirring with the jar in the sink. It might even be wise to pour some of the oil out into another container until you get it loosened up a bit.
I know nut butters get oil separation, but this was like half stone-haes half liquid, makingit impossible to mix again As all Dastony butteea this comes in a plastic jar instead of glass, making it easier for transport (so smaller carbon footprint) but not sure about microplastics mixing in...
The consistency is really weird, a lot of oil on the top and the other half is too thick to be able to spread, it doesn't taste good neither, nothing like you are eating the real brazil nut. Although it has great nutrition fact and I add it to my oatmeal, I don't think I will purchase again.
Mixed separated oil back into solids and put into refrigerator as recommended. Using a spoonful as a keto treat. Won't buy again as it tastes bad and coats your mouth. Good news is you won't want to eat anything for a while. .
First off, the nuts and the oil was separated, that was tolerable, but the oil content of this butter is disgustingly high, like as if you're eating oil itself, so its nothing near like eating brazil nuts itself. But I guess if you know some recipes to utilize this thing maybe you'll benefit cuz I know this is very nutritious.
