This tastes great. It has a finely ground powdery texture. I prefer it to a different brand that I tried previously. It is a wonderful sweetener for oatmeal, Muffins, and quick breads. I have also use this in brownies, and homemade peanut sauce. Consumer should know that this does not dissolve completely like white sugar. So it is good to put in items that are baked goods and other things, but will not dissolve in a glass of tea.

I got my first bag and made my yummy pumpkin banana bread recipe…. It turned out amazing!! I've been not eating refined sugar for quite awhile. Only use einkorn flour and organic ingredients in everything I bake. I've made my recipe with alternate sugars and while it was okay and edible it wasn't over the top yummy like the original recipe. Made with this date sugar it's super tasty and I feel good about eating my delicious bread! I'm ordering 3 lbs right now ? Thank you

I am somewhat new to this date sugar, but I'm experimenting like crazy! I made the chocolate chip cookies on the back of the bag and they are very good. I've been making my own granola for many years, and I've replaced the brown sugar with this date sugar, and also replaced the small amount of honey with date syrup. Both give my granola a whole new depth of flavor, and I love it! In the summer I grow yellow squash, and with some of the bounty I recently made chocolate squash bread, which I've been making for years. So far I've made three batches, substituting the date sugar for white sugar and cutting down the flour by 25%, as Date Lady suggests. The results are perfect, better than my original recipe. I'm sold on this date sugar, and the experiments will continue.

I was curious about the flavor of this and how to use it. It has so much flavor! I've used it in my streusel topping for muffins. Love it!

I wanted to quite using Stevia powder as a sweetener and thought that this date sugar would be an healthier option, I have been using the syrup from the same brand and I like the taste very much however I was disappointed to find out that date sugar is only apropiate for banking since it doesn't dissolve well in liquids like coffee or tea, the taste of the date sugar wasn't appealing as the syrup, I used for baking cakes and it tasted okay, it's heavy and requires additional liquid because it makes the cake butter dryer, the price is average compared to other brands.

I have been using these 2 products to sweeten things I make for about 6 months. These along with honey are now my go to sweeteners. I do wish that ordering direct would mean a decreased price, however I can get the products from Walmart cheaper, so generally ourchase there.

I can't get this sugar to dissolve in my coffee and it messed up my espresso machine. I guess its because its a powder, not crystals. And it also has a really strong, odd taste but i suppose that's to be expected as its made from dates. BUT, they are a wonderful company! They refunded my order AND sent me a bottle of the date syrup to try. I love it! It is great in my coffee!
