I haven’t eaten bread in YEARS because it’s known to spike blood sugar and cause weight gain. This organic, delicious, non-genetically altered bread does not raise my blood sugar! It’s loaded with vitamins, minerals and protein and I t doesn’t bloat me up. I have a slice of avacado toast every morning now. It’s so awesome to eat bread again! Good bread!
This bread does cost more than some other breads, but it has a lot of extra ingredients, like seeds and chopped nuts, which help the bread taste better and are also healthy. It is not pasty, and makes a good sandwich that does not fall apart from pasty bread.
I love “nuts and twigs” bread, as my dad calls it. LOL This brand's quality is always great. I actually prefer this bread in the smaller, thinner slices, but this order was for my boyfriend, who prefers these larger slices. I'd say that one sandwich made with this bread is equivalent to 1 1/2 sandwiches made with this, or any other, brand's “normal” size bread loaf. Because this bread is so dense, I do prefer the smaller, thinner slices, so I just cut one of these big mamma-jamma pieces in half for my sandwich.
When you want a bread that can handle yesterdays tri-tip, you reach for a loaf of Dave's cause it's killer. This isn't an overkill of ingredients, it is just a clean, tasty bread the holds up. I am thinking of doing a Reuben or maybe French toast next, either way..I am asold. Now if Dave would make a Rye?
I typically did not eat bread very often. But that changed after tasting Dave's Killer Bread! It is very flavorful and I really like all the grains in it. It also has just a touch of sweetness. I find myself actually craving a sandwich made with this bread. It also makes great toast. My son recently visited me for a week and he was surprised that I made myself a sandwich a few times while he was here. He knew I just didn't like bread. When he commented on it, I made him taste a slice. He admitted that it tastes better than any bread he has ever had. He ended up taking half of my sandwich too since the two slices I used finished off the loaf. Oh well, I did insist he sample the bread.
My son and husband have been trying to cut calories, and eat healthy. Dave’s Killer bread is the only bread they will eat. The slices are thick, with a delicious sunflower crunch. It is not dry at all it has this sweet wholesome goodness that now even I choose this bread over any other.
This is the best bread on the market. It is a bit expensive but that's because it has real ingredients and no fillers. I like the taste and the texture. It actually fills you up! I use it for sandwiches and also as a snack with butter, cinnamon and sugar! It's delicious. The white bread from the same brand is also very good.
We love this bread and it is so good for you. BUT...when I get it from my local Wal-Mart it is always dry. When I get it from Sam's Club it is nice and soft. I think because it's expensive it doesn't move fast enough at my local Wal-Mart. Sam's Club serves more people and is able to move it off the shelves.
I just git this bread. I order it all the time my favorite however this loaf was all mold on the inside slices. Its my favorite. Never had this happen before. I use home delivery and am very grateful for the great service. Is there any resolve. I threw the whole loaf away.
One of the item was damaged but is not appear in my list for returning. It looks like gnawed by an animal, However, the bag in which the bread is wrapped is broken and the bread is not eatable.
