I've got this on subscription now! It's a nutrition bar, not a high sugar, high fat candy bar with added protein. It has the best rating from WW (3 points) of all the protein bars I've tried. I love the blueberry pie flavor, which also has little rice krispie-type bits for crunch. I have some in the car in case I miss a meal. I like them from the fridge too. I can eat just a half and it gets me through to the next meal. Nutrients are high, like a true nutrition bar. if you want something that tastes like a candy bar, buy a candy bar.
I love David's bars for it can be a meal replacement. Also, if you're on the go. Most people they say that I've given them to they love the taste. They don't like the texture to each his own. I wish they would make more bronze flavored bars, like cookies and cream! Thank you for listening….
I have an afternoon shake and a couple hours later have a David bar. I don't really care about the label controversy with fat and calories. I would continue to buy these even if they had to change the label. chocolate cookie dough is my fave. prior to this I was eating quest bars but had to keep them in my pocket to soften them up. David bars don't need this treatment.
I fell for the flashy packaging. Don't make the same mistake I did! The bitterness of the artificial sugar substitutes and the strong aftertaste made it impossible to enjoy. Just trying to enjoy my morning protein bar with my coffee but every bite was like torture. I finished most of them just so it wouldn't be a complete waste of money. I can only hope the nutritional value is there.
Wanted to love these, but just no. I love barebells protein bars, I read the reviews on these and others raved about them. They obviously did not ever have a barebells bar. They aren't the worst thing ever, but I'm gonna pass from now on.
Don’t believe the hype! Doesn’t taste like chocolate brownie: tastes like waxy dense protein bar. Not worth cost. Will wait to see if its protein outweighs the downside of the flavor %26 expense. Been eating protein bars for decades %26 I’ve tried everything. PARRILLO bars were incredible protein energy %26 taste. This is Disappointing. Even Quest bars taste better.
Ingredients are good and reviewed as high quality by trusted nutrition site. So gave these a try, ignoring the quite high comparable price. I found them inedible. I’m not a tough critic. I don’t expect protein bars to taste like snickers. The packaging was immaculate . But these inside are bland, dry and gritty, with very little discernible flavor and $12. Until these are improved ;THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS. The gold box and solid marketing can’t make up for the fact these really aren’t good or filling either. Please work on your formula folks.
Gross. No flavor yet weird taste! I am not new to protein bars and have lots of favorites. This 100% is not one of them! Don't waste your money. Macros aren't bad but I don't want to waste them on nasty gross protein bars. Found inflammatory oils in ingredients. There are other wonderful protein bar products on the market. Save your money with this one. Yuck!
I’ve tried so many protein bars I can’t list them all. I think this is the worst one I’ve ever tasted. The protein count is high, so if you can choke it down, you’re good. Don’t let the pretty box and high cost fool you into thinking it might be tasty - because it’s not.
Not good. I am a regular for protein bars and saw this new brand and wanted to try a couple flavors before committing to a box. So glad I did. Weird flavor, yet no taste! It literally was just gross. After my two bites I took this to my husband to see if he wanted it. He took one bite and looked at me like I just fed him Alpo wet dog food. I do not recommend The chocolate chip or the fudge brownie. Yuck! Weird taste yet no resemblance of flavor on packaging. I also noticed the use of inflammatory oils in ingredients. Macros weren't bad. Taste Gross
