These bars are delicious, great macros and filling ( in a good way). I already reviewed the blueberry pie flavor - and I've tried almost all the flavors and like them all - but the Red Velvet are fantastic and my favorite flavor !!! I also like that they have so much protein but almost no sugar and lower calories and carbs. Definitely my bar of choice!
a bit pricey but overal. worth it. a bit sweet for me but will try another flavor. would eat occasionally in place of a meal 😉 when rushed. Highly recommend!
Shipping was fast and the bar arrived in a few days. The bar tastes GREAT! and it has the best calorie to protein ratio you will find! Zero added sugar too so I can eat these entirely guilt free!
Love the bars, have tried and have all the 28 G bar flavors. Great replacement meal and even great for something after dinner if you really want dessert. :-) Big fan all around.
For a protein bar provides the most bang for my buck. Only 150 cal and 28 g of protein. I am on the go a lot so it's nice to have a couple bars packed and it makes it a lot easier to hit my protein goals. I will say that a lot of the David bars taste the same to me as far as variety goes, I wish these bars had a bit more difference in taste. However, none of them taste bad.
This is a flavorful bar. The macros are good, the taste is good, the size is good, and the customer service is stellar. I am sorry they have chosen to use maltitol to sweeten the bars, though. I also love bars with icing/coating, which none of these have. My advice, give David Protein Bars a try!
I was quite disappointed in this bar. There was something that didn't smell right. I couldn't put my finger on it. The protein? The flavor wasn't to my liking. I was really hoping these would be good because of the protein amount. I had to put some cookie butter on it to cover the after tastes. Not sure why it is shiny on the outside, like greasy. I really had my hopes up, but they went down instead. I got two other flavors, cinnamon roll and fudge brownie, and they too were a disappointment. The cinnamon roll definitely tasted off. The fudge brownie was the only one that I could really disguise by putting honey peanut butter and/or cookie butter on it. :sleepy::sleepy::sleepy:
I like the taste of these. And I was so excited to try more but I did deeper research and learned that unfortunately their nutrition label was not approved by ConsumerLabs, which found the fat content to be higher and the protein content to be lower than advertised. They use an under-studied proprietary fat that allegedly has significantly fewer calories per gram. That just sounds way too good to be true to me. The owner has of course said the report is inaccurate. But I'm not taking chances on it. Personally, I'd rather steer clear of proprietary ingredients.
The red velvet cake is very disappointing. It doesn't taste like anything I recognize. The price is outrageous. This is my combo birthday and Valentine's present to myself. The texture is okay, a bit sticky and chewy. The flavor isn't bad, just what I said, nothing like I was expecting, and nothing recognizable. I won't be ordering David Protein bars again. Barebells and Misfits are much better and cost less than these. I'm fairly new to the Keto diet. I was diagnosed predibetic last year, so I'm trying different things. Some things work out great, this wasn't one of them.
personally I did not like the protein bar. it may have been the flavor I got I got red velvet and I just do not like it other people may really love it the bar itself was okay I just didn't care for the red velvet
