DaVinci Charlie 6-Drawer Double Dresser

I bought this for my niece to use as a changing table and it is beautiful

the drawers seem a little flimsy but otherwise like the dresser

This set was beautiful! Thought it would look cheap but it showed real quality craftmanshiip. Recommend!!

The drawer assembly was pretty straight forward. Using the Allen wrench to screw the main dresser together was an exercise in frustration. Thankfully my husband was able to use a short drill bit at an angle to tighten them much faster. It turned out sold, heavy and beautiful! The stain was applied a little thin on some of the drawer accents where you could almost see the bare wood in places but it is still pretty.

The dresser looks great and feels sturdy once it's put together. The finish is beautiful, and the drawers slide smoothly. My biggest complaint is the drawer design. You can't easily reach items in the very back of the drawers, so some of the storage space ends up being wasted. I wish the drawers extended farther to make better use of the available space. Other than that, it's a solid dresser and works well for a nursery or bedroom.

Extremely poorly made, was left outside by driver in the pouring rain (not manufacturers fault), so did suffer water damage. We still tried putting most of it together, when I did notice white tape covering spots on the wood on the back part of the dresser. Not sure if this is the manufacturers doing or I got someone's used returned item.

So disappointed in the quality of this dresser. I purchased this dresser along with the 3 drawer one which I use as a nightstand. That one was easy to put together and the only issue I had with that one was one of the drawers did not want to slide all the way back. It gets stuck and I have to use force to make it go all the way in. The 6 drawer dresser has been a nightmare. Putting together the drawers, the nail holes do not line up and the nails went through into the drawer itself splitting the wood in 2 places. One of the drawers goes in lopsided because the tracks are not even. I would send it back but it's too heavy and would be a pain to have to re-box it back up. Would love to get a partial refund but I don't think that's going to happen.
