ordered for my granddaughter when she was having her 1st child, they absolutely love the rocker/recliner
I love it. Very comfortable and the perfect size. Easy to put together. Just want I needed. The quality is pretty good and the color is nice. It does not make any sound.
Considering purchase of this recliner. First, two questions. Need to assure my head has support in all positions. What is height of rear vertical cushion? Also, does it come in powered version? Thanks. David
These glider recliners are very comfortable. They have full back support and both gliding and swiveling can be used to get in and out of them with ease. The armrests are well padded and the seat is also comfortable, while others I have tried can be too hard for long time use, as watching TV or dozing off into a midday siesta. They are in the mid to smaller size, so are best suited for the intended use. But they can be used as lounger chairs for anyone under six feet tall. When you approach this height, you will find that the feet are hanging out of the foot rest. Still the padding will support you comfortably but the legs are supported at the calf. The cover material is neither washable nor removable. So a little fabric protectant before they can pick up stains is advised.
True to the pictures IRL. Assembly was simple but not necessarily easy. The chair comes in 2 pieces and the back slides into the base, but you REALLY need to hulk it down into place until you hear the snap. The chair itself is comfortable, however the leg extension is a little short and not super padded. I am 5'4" and my heels barely make it onto the footrest and sort of meet right at the edge. If it were just a little more padded, it would be perfect. Great value for the price though, and overall we are happy with the purchase.
Chair is great. Dealing with Ashley's communications about the purchase was annoying and the sometimes twice daily email & marketing text messages that haven't stopped despite unsubscribing is very frustrating
The chair itself is very nice looking and very comfortable, but the footstool is incredibly hard to close/latch with your legs. I have to awkwardly get out of the chair with the footstool still up (hard to do with a baby in your arms) and then actually close it with my hands.
The chair is fine but it has too much give. If I'm laying down and wiggle, the chair wobbles. Also, when I try and kick the feet out, I have to reach out and pull the leg rest up for it to come up all the way.
I bought this in September for a nursery, it seemed a little stiff but I didn't think much of it. My son is less than 2 weeks old (we didn't use the recliner prior to his arrival) and it is basically broken. The recline function hardly works, it is difficult to close, and it will pop out at random. Neither husband nor I are large people so I am very disappointed in the product. Aside from that the recliner is comfortable.
The foot part is extremely difficult to close, and unless you are sitting in the crack in the back its very difficult to recline. Not pleased. Only keeping because I got rid of the box and desperately need a chair in my nursery. Would not recommend or ever purchase again.
