I cannot live without my dawn. not only does it clean your dishes, but it helps your husband in the garage, you can wash the siding of your house to getting peanut butter out of your daughter's hair and peanut butter off your son's hands. worth every penny
Dawn platinum is my favorite dish washing detergent bar none. It suds up, and lasts longer than any others that i've tried. You need to use less than half of this liquid in comparison to the others, in other words you get way more bang for your buck!
We love Dawn Platinum Dish soap! It effectively cleans stuck-on food and cuts grease. It's an effective detergent for cleaning paint from paintbrushes. This really is the superior dishwashing product, and the price is reasonable for how effective it is.
I would not buy DAWN for years because I thought that it was too expensive but I bought a very small bottle once just to try it..I found out that I COULD USE VERY LITTLE DAWN compared to other brands and my dishes, pots and pans were getting cleaner faster with just a small amount..I HAVE BOUGHT IT EVER SINCE.
Great all purpose soap. Not just for dishes and pots and pans but also for getting oil and grease stains out of fabrics. If it's safe enough for ducklings it's safe for my clothes.
I have used Dawn soap for years. I always grab the one with the little duck on the label. I love to use Dawn for cleaning everything. If it's really dirty I use Dawn Power Wash. I keep both on hand at my kitchen sink.
Like many, I note that the original perfume that drew me to it is no longer used. Sister product Tide is the most tinkered with item in the supermarket, so no surprise there. However, it does meet my needs and why i continue to buy it. BTW, the best thing to clean greasy hands after dealing with raw and cooked meats. If you have seen the original introductory ads for the brand on You Tube, it still does that today.
I grew up using original Dawn - it was great at tackling grease and smelled fresh %26 clean. I switched to another brand a number of years ago because I noticed that Dawn was stripping my hands of moisture and leaving them cracked %26 bleeding - very likely due to the methylisothiazolinone. I recently bought Dawn Platinum to try to remove polyqarternium from some clothes and decided to use the remainder of the soap for handwashing dishes. I regret that decision. Dawn Platinum Fresh Rain smells HORRIBLE! The scent makes me nauseated, and within a few days of use, I noticed that my kitchen sponge started to stink of microbial growth - something that doesn't happen when I use Palmolive or Ecos. Though the soap is great at making suds %26 washing away grease, the cleaning effectiveness is not worth the terrible smell and nausea that sets in when I use it. I do not recommend this product.
First time buyer of this product and took one whif and gross! It's obviously not the same as I remember. It just smells like any other dish soap and you can smell the chemical soap smell. Ewwww! I googled why Dawn changed the scent and apparently they did consumer tests, but those are obvioulsy flawed and everyone is complaining. I bought this because I remember using it to wash a client's dishes years ago and I loved the smell and I wanted to try it out because I've been told to stop using Dawn antibacterial dish soap. I won't being buying Dawn products anymore until they fix this transgression. Companies think they need to change things up, but then ruin their products. Dawn....please bring back the original scent because this is booboo!!
I bought this because I had a coupon. I wouldn't use it again even if it was free. You have to use so much to even get soap and it never cuts grease. It's watery and a total waste of money. I went back to my usual Palmolive Ultra Oxy and threw the Dawn in the garbage.
