[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out this Dawn platinum dish washing liquid soap in exchange for my honest review and I liked it so much that I bought a second one on sale before I even finished my first jug. I enjoy the fresh rain scent but more than anything I like how effective it is at getting grime off of dishes. The bottle is conveniently shaped for easy handling which is important since I use an auto dispensing soap sponge brush to help me easily clean and remove food “ick” from all my dirty dishes and we tend to refilll this handheld soap brush around once a week. Overall very happy and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spout is a much needed design upgrade. Absolutely helpful when refilling a smaller bottle. The bottle isn't too big but the handle helps with moving it around. The soap itself is great, you never need too much to get the job done.

The pour feature instead of having to squeeze over and over to refill the bottle you just pour. Dawn is my favorite dish soap and always has been, no other soap cleans like dawn especially the platinum. It breaks up grease easily and leaves dishes squeaky clean with no residue. I like the ability to refill saving money and creating less waste. The fresh rain scent is perfect and fresh.

Bacon pans, cheesy casserole dishes, all come clean without soaking forever. A little goes a long way. The bottle lasts me months because you really don't need much. Saves money and counter space. Fresh Rain scent is nice and clean without being too strong. My hands don't smell like lemon pledge after doing dishes, which I appreciate. It also doesn't dry my hands out as bad as other soaps. If your sink is always full of greasy stuff, this stuff is worth the extra dollar. Only complaint: I got the soap with broken seal and did not get a replacement.

It has all the ingredients to help break down greasy food and provides great result with less time consuming. However, it has some drawbacks. To begin with, the scent is not good at all and comes off more as silicone unsatisfying smell rather than aromatic scent the cleaning chemical in the product may cause some problems to your skin so I suggest that you should wear gloves while cleaning. On the other hand The size of the bottle is convenient as it can refill my sink dispenser 8 times so i can save money and times to make many trips to buy more. We have to ensure to clean properly otherwise, it might leave a sticky feeling, residue that I don't think you want it happens to you. The packaging is basically the same and does not a huge upgrade or improvement. I would recommend this product as a great dish cleaning soap not about the scent but about the effectiveness.

As usual it cut thru the grease no problem and had a great lather. My main issue was with the packaging. It leaked a LOT. You can't totally tell because I angled the jug for the pic but the box it came in was soaked and that's such a waste! Feel like the cap leaks easy and if anything one of those leak guards could have been packed on the cap as prevention

I thought the terrible smell was from the food caked onto the dishes, not the soap itself. I've loved Dawn products and used them constantly for many years but the Fresh Rain scent smells like mildew and rot. It makes me nauseous to use. Despite the unfortunate scent, the product works well and reduces scrubbing time, but I can't in good faith recommend this particular scent to anyone I care about.
