Dawn Ultra Liquid Dish Soap, Dishwashing Liquid, Grease Removal, Original, 28oz

Hi, what can go wrong with dawn dish soap, I just think it is best all around dish soap. I wash a lot of animal dishes and coffee cups, the sun sure out up and all day, my daughter who shops at Walmart with a large family , she also buys many bottles of this same brand,also used it on all animals.thanks for being so accommodating. Blue Dawn is a must for all households. I use it for dishes, spot removal in laundry, washing a sensitive-skin pet and general household cleaning. It can be added to other things for weed removal and even as an insect repellent. Dawn is an absolutely must have!

I've been cleaning houses for almost 31 years and I've been using Dawn for the same amount of time if not longer, you can use it for a detergent you can use it for a stain remover grease remover it's a great product. I would recommend it to everybody

THE ULTIMATE DISH SOAP! I HAVE BEEN USING DAWN DISH DETERGENT FOR 30 PLUS YEARS AND WILL CONTINUE TO WASH DISHES, POTS AND PANS WITH THIS SOAP. IF YOU WANT SQUEAKY CLEAN THIS IS THE DISH SOAP YOU WANT. I HAVE EVEN USED THIS IF I HAVE SPLATTERED A BIT OF OIL ON CLOTHING, I JUST WASH BY HAND AND IT WASHES AWAY THE OIL WITHOUT DAMAGING CLOTHING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT AS DAWN ALSO IS KNOWN FOR HELPING ANIMALS, WILDLIFE AND SUCH AFTER OIL SPILLS HAVE OCCURRED. I WILL ALWAYS PURCHASE THIS SOAP! PROUD TO USE DAWN.

It came in with the bottle squashed. Probably not a good way to ship plastic bottles. I was able to transfer the contents to a previously used bottle.

The new highly perfumed floral scent smells like 1980's floral douche! It stinks so bad my nostrils burn and I have a headache after washing the dishes; it's so highly perfumed now I can actually taste it in my mouth from inhaling the odor. My dishes all smell and taste like this new awful perfume stank now. Are the folks working at P%26G so bored that they decide to ruin the smell of all their trusted products we've depended on for many decades?! Safeguard Bar Soap, Gain Liquid, Dawn... all ruined and made unusable by horrible new highly perfumed "clean" scents lately. My husband uses Dawn to wash the grease off his hands and eyeglasses, now he can't even use it or he'll smell like the nursing home ladies who douse themselves in expired perfume to avoid taking showers. This is unacceptable, we've used Dawn for it's grease cutting powers for our entire adult lives and we're retirees so that's a long time. Never before did we have to worry about it stinking like very potent floral douche!!! Please bring back the original scent for your loyal customers who don't want their environment to be highly perfumed

There's a noxious synthetic smell that's in everything from dryer sheets to food packaging these days, and original Dawn has started using it in a big way. It's like you mixed a bottle of cheap perfume with a bottle of dish soap. Even worse, it sticks to everything it touches and you can't get it out. After 3 washings my beer mug still smells like a French house of ill repute.

I wash my dishes by hand and Dawn has changed and not just the scent! It no longer gets grease off of plastic. That was the reason that I liked it for the past 40 years. I switched from my plastic dish brushes and yellow and green sponges to microfiber dish cloths and if I use a lot of Dawn and very, very hot water I can get the grease off of the dishes.

I used to purchase this as my go-to dish soap, as it was much more gentle on my skin than most other brands of dish soap, and was still very effective at cleaning dishes, as well as an effective "all purpose cleaner" soap,. However, In this year (2026), I noticed that the formula had been changed. The first thing I noticed IMMEDIATELY was that th scent was different, it no longer had a mild pleasant scent, but a more harsh smell more resembling an industrial solvent. The next thing I oticed was that it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to actually rinse this stuff of your skn. After wshing my hands in it (or dong dishes with it), I ca literally rinse my hands whle rubbing them together thoroughly for over 60-90 seconds (additional seconds AFTER washing the bulk of the sopa off during the hand cleaning process), and I can STILL clearly notice th srong, unpleasant smell of the new formula. Finally, the last thing I noticed was that after using the product for a few weeks, I started to develop what looks like ead skin "blisters" on my fingers, both on the BACK of the fingers (but also on the tougher pads on the front of the fingers. I am livid that yet another company has ruined what WAS a solid product, and now I can't justify buying any Dawn products anymore.

I ordered the original scent because I like the original scent. It smelled clean for a moment, then the scent dissipated. This "new" abomination smells so strong and lingers forever. My whole family hates it. Not cool, Dawn, not cool.
