Dawn Ultra Original Dish Soap Liquid 15.5 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy Influenster gave me the opportunity to try the refillable bottle of Dawn. Dawn dish soap is a trusted brand in our home. Easy to use pour spout to fill existing smaller bottles. Product works great to cut grease and grime. A small amount dilutes quickly to create cleaning suds. Leaves no residue on my dishes, rinses clean. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dawn right here does exactly what it says. Cuts through grease fast, and smells fresh and you barely need any. A little goes a long way which makes it last longer. My dishes comes out clean every-time with no cloudy film. Solid to keep on the counter.

For grease and oil, it's a miracle worker. My husband occasionally works with cars and this gets the grease and oil off of him with ease.

It’s also makes getting grease stained items clean so much faster. When I soak my dishes with dawn I barely have to clean them after. The other brands are just not worth it in my opinion. I will always purchase Dawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love Dawn! I've used this brand for years, and it's one of the few brands I refuse to go generic for. There's never any residue on my dishes, it rinses so easily, and my dishes sparkle. I've never been disappointed in this dish soap. If it's good enough to clean ducks, then it's good enough for my home.

I love a good lather, whether it comes to washing my dishes or washing my hands or really any surface that needs a good squeaky clean. This dawn dish detergent is fantastic for cleaning your dishes, washing your hands or really cleaning anything in general. It’s so gentle and effective that wildlife rescuers even use it on birds that have been exposed to oil. It is very cost-effective and easy to find in the store and always provides good results for cleaning. At my work we have tons of fancy hand soaps, but whenever I want the cleanest feeling on my hands, I reach for this dawn dish detergent. As you can see in my video, it lathers up quickly and effortlessly providing tons of bubbles. Even though it is made for dishes, specifically it is gentle enough to use on your hands without making them overly tight or dry feeling. I would recommend this to anybody who needs a gentle effective cleaning product that also has a mild sense and does not irritate your skin. I especially like this for when I have a large sink of dishes and don’t want my hands to get irritated from over washing. 

Ever since early 2024 Dawn dish soap has been all wrong. Suddenly out of nowhere your company just decided to change the formula and no one even asked for this at all. Brought home the updated dish soap and it was an absolute disaster. Horrible smell and burning irritated hands and my sinuses were inflamed. I quickly threw it away and switched to another dish soap. About 1 year later I bought it again just to see if you changed anything and you did and it seemed to have another kind of smell but this time the smell was like a really strong perfume smell that lingers on your hands for hours and makes the pots, dishes, plastic containers smell very strongly of cheap perfume for days. I then threw that bottle away and noticed many other people on the website here complained of similar things. This past week as of June 2026 I bought it again to test it and it absolutely smells terrible. The smell reminds of overly strong carpet freshener or some really cheap shampoo and I hate it. I tried doing dishes with it and I couldn't. The smell made me angry. What is wrong with your company????? For years over the decades the smell of dawn dish soap was apart of American households. The original smell was classic and everyone loved it and it was a big part of washing the dishes. You even would wash ducks with it and they liked it. Something really changed in early 2024 when your company thought it was alright to destroy a perfectly good product. I personally have moved on from your product I now wash my dishes with Seventh Generation dish soap and it's wonderful and I don't need your lousy dish soap anymore. I can only imagine how many other customers have abandoned your product and I don't think you can ever get lots of your customer base back. Everything you make now smells like a joke and your company is a joke too.

The new scent sucks!!!!!! You ruined my cup of coffee this morning. This change makes me incredibly angry. I DO NOT care whether scent is safe for ducklings or not, it stinks!!!!

duuuuuuuuuuuuuude this new scent is truly terrible. Please ya gotta fix it. It literally makes me want to puke.

The product has been ruined by this nasty new scent. I won't buy it anymore unless you change it back. 🤮🤢
