I love the size of the clock, it is about 6"x2.5" and the numbers are about 2". It is very easy to read from across the room. I like that you can set it to display only the time, if you wish. You can also set the color of the display. I like solid red for night. I use the batteries to keep the time and settings while traveling. When at a hotel, I plug it into my computer usb port for a constant light and time. The two bonuses are that I'm not using batteries and I don't leave it in the room when checking out.
wonderful little wonderful alarm clock but be warned It doesn't come with an actual plug-in. it comes with a USB cable it needs but doesn't actually plug into the wall. you'll need the USB to wall outlet adapter yourself
I would have given this a film 5 star if it wasn't so small. But it is a great I have a very heavy sleeper and this wakes him up!!
