Works very quickly. Comes with the battery in a separate little zip bag. There's a red plastic coin for opening the battery compartment. Snaps right in. Very useful item. There's no light for the screen, but that's not a problem. Numbers are large, can read without my reading glasses. Good item to have.

This is a nice thing to have to show the room temperature %26 humidity for the room that it's in and it does change if I take it into another room, which shows it has a quick response. It is quite small and I wish you could light up the screen, but it is easily visible when you walk up to it or hold it in your hand. It does have a little kickstand in the back so it'll stand up on its own. There's also a button on the screen that'll let you change it to F° or C° %26 it shows both "high and low" for both temp and humidity, which you can choose to show just the "24 hr" time period or of "all time". It seems to have a good sensor and readout. I posted one picture of it in my hand to show it's size and the second is to show the angle it sits at on an end table. I hope this review is helpful to others who are looking for a small room thermostat. I will be buying several more because i love that it'll show me each room and the high and low for each room as well so I know when and where it's best to run my dehumidifier.

This temperature and hygrometer is very nice! Compact and good looking. Seems to be accurate in its readings. The readout is very easy to see, even from a bit of a distance. Big thumbs for this!

Shows temperature and humidity with an easy to ready display. It comes with a battery. The battery hatch was a little hard to open even with the included plastic coin.

This is a good meter. Works well and easy to read. Would definitely recommend.

the picture of this item looked like it was about 7 to 8 inches wide and 5 to 6 inches tall. when I received the item, it was 2 inches x 2 inches, it would not open to put the battery in. you would not be able to read the display without a magnifying glass. EXTREMELY UN SATISFIED!!!

This is MUCH smaller than pictured. I have one already and it's 5x bigger, and was the same price! We're in our 60's and can't see this unless we were standing right in front of it! Very disappointed!

The battery cover is very difficult to remove. Once it's off and one is attempting to insert the round disc battery, it's impossible to close the cover. I'm not sure if mine was defective or if the hydrometer is made so that it takes an engineer to insert the battery. My money was refunded but it's a disappointment to have to reorder another brand plus having to go to a location to do the return.
