I used these for a dark basement at one of my staging sites and they look great and helped with lighting!

Much more quality build than I expected for the price. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. It really enhanced the look of my den with the perfect look and right amount of lighting. The White shade muted the brightness and made for a perfect "always on" light. Highly recommended.

Well - I bought it for the remote controlled bulb w/the remote as just a remote bulb w a remote controller cost the same, but figured why not get a lamp thrown in as well. I thought it was an ok deal - out of the box I got an easy to assemble, sturdy lamp that fit the family den or kids bedroom to study by. Standing at 5 foot tall it looks pretty good it stands straight without any tilt as it has a weighted base and the lamp shade had a 'starched' cloth type material that helps provide a good ambiance. For under $40 delivered to my front door I feel I got a good buy!

I love this lamp! The bulb has lasted months, the lighting is soft but enough to light up a large area and its so sleek and slim! Im back on the site to order more!

I chose this particular lamp because I needed very narrow light for a small space. It assembled fairly easily. The directions were not very helpful but since there are not many parts, you can figure it out. Each part of the base and post screwed into another easily. One thing I didnt realize was that the lamp on/off switch is a foot control button. That is the one negative.

This was very easy to put together. It's perfect as a supplemental light to brighten a dark corner, reading nook, or workspace. I would not recommend it as the primary light in a room unless you are seeking ambient lighting. Once I am a few feet away I don't feel it is bright enough to read comfortably. The remote is very handy and we use the timer function quite a bit.

Purchased this light as a reading light in a dark corner of the room. Liked the adjustable brightness and temperatures, and that it comes with a remote control. Initially had a missing stabilizing nut, but the company responded quickly and sent a replacement. It is a little lighter than I'd like so best to put in a place that will not be knocked over easily. Having the remote control reduces the risk of tipping over.

Great little lamp. We have a tight corner between two bookshelves and it fit perfectly in there and provides the perfect illumination. I love the three levels of light brightness and we sometimes change it depending on the time of day, but the base brightness works for daily life. I looked for a narrow lamp and was shocked at how expensive they were and none were of a better quality than this until I was willing to pay $200 . The fabric shade cover looks very nice and goes on smoothly. Assembly was very easy and straight forward.

I bought this as a gift for my son-in-law that it just created his own space for his computer, TV and gaming console. He needed a lamp that wouldn't take up a lot of room and this one was just perfect. He really likes it and now my daughter is ordering one for their front room.

This lamp is not a showpiece, for sure. But, a standing lamp that gives off a nice light with just a 40 watt. I found a 60 is too much for my use. The stand is easy, just screw each piece together and pull the elec wire thru. The linen shade is pretty easy to put on the plastic round part - the rolled shade snaps on to that part to complete it.. I do not use the remote (just what I didn't want was another darn remote!) You don't need it, but it dims and has colors I guess. Istead of a finger switch, there's a foot pad on/off. OK--I like it! I have it sort-of tucked back, out of the way. Kids or dogs would easily knock this thing over. But, with the choices we have now, this was a good price and it works!
