i got this headlamp to use while i work on my truck during the late evening into night (really hot to work on it during the daytime where i live) so i wait til sun goes down and temps cool a little but being under an vehicle at night definitely need to be able to use both hands and be able to see and this head lamp does its job on that.. nothing to fancy with all the 10 plus modes like other lights have just a basic zoom and brightness 🔆🔅 and flash.. so its great definitely would buy another when needed.

Great for when power outages occur. Recently my power went out and I was fumbling for candles and flashlights. The great thing about this gadget is that it keeps my hands free. A lot of lighting options including bright white, dimmer white, softer yellow, and blue strobe lights ( or red strobe lights) for emergencies.

I have 2 giant dogs and wear their leashes around my waist. Using a flashlight can be difficult. this headlamp works awesome! 3 different settings plus it zooms in and out easily! Definitely worth it! I also use it for camping and setting up our site when dark.

I was looking for something to use for hiking trails, walks at night, and for outdoor work at night. This is perfect and almost everything in the description is accurate. All 3 modes work great and the bright is super bright. You can rotate the light very easily and with one hand which is super handy. It stays in place pretty good. I took off a star for 2 reasons. It did not come with any instructions on how to orient the head band. I had to look at the picture in the product description to figure it out. Also the one I received is not adjustable. I think both of these issues are due to the fact it looked like this item was previously bought and returned. It was in original packaging and it was clear the excess band was hacked off with scissors. So I'm stuck with the size it came with which is fine as I have a small head. :-) In any case, it was pretty easy to figure out and the product is great.

PQR: Good SHIPPING/PACKING: Good QUALITY: Good The LEDs are high quality. The elastic strap material is of very good quality, has a very comfy satin silky feel, and does not pull hairs out. The plastic used for the body of light and the strap buckles is also of high quality. No weird smells at all. It says "waterproof" in the description. It is NOT! It is IPX4 which can handle light rain, sweat, splashes, etc. If you drop it in the water, that may be the end of the party. EASE OF USE: Barely Passable (except for the tilt) I really like the finely ratcheted tilt mechanism. It allows for fine adjustment and holds the position very well. However, it does not have 180 degress of motion. It has about 45 degrees up or down from the center position. So a total of 90 degrees. Half of what is claimed. The buttons are on top of the lamp and are made of a pliable material that is typical of stuff with a passable IPX4 water resistant rating. Instead of an extra button to control the mode of the blue and red LEDs and strobe functions, I would rather have at least one button simply turn the light on and off. As it works now, the button on the right turns the white LED on the lamp on, the second press dims that bulb, the third press turns on only the yellow lamp, the fourth press dims that bulb,the fifth press turns on both bulbs, and then finally the sixth press turns it off. Soon you'll be trained to perform the six clicks like a circus monkey. You won't even have to count them or have a concept or number. You can see that this could get tiresome after a while. The left button does the same as the right unless you have long pressed either button to invoke the red and/or blue lights. I find these almost useless unless you want to wear it in the back seat of someone's car and turn on the flashing red/blue to look like a cop car in the rear view mirror. The first thing I did after trying on this thing was cut off the strap that goes across the top of the head. Unless you have a child's sized head this strap is not going to do you any favors. One star is being taken away from the overall rating due to the aforementioned, the hard plastic that sits directly on the forehead, and not a single instruction included. I fixed the hard plastic against the forehead by taking a piece of the top strap that I cut off and threading it through the other straps to make a nice comfortable area for the forehead to rest on. The lack of instructions with many of these small Chinese comapanies is a point of contention for me. At least the online description at Walmart has a image with some instructions. So, I just save the image and use that as I do with many of these products. One star removed from overall rating due to lack of instructions and the misrepresentation of the lamp's range of motion. DO I RECOMMEND!: Yes, but with Caveats The quality is good and the price is right if you can get past the lack of a simple on/off button. Getcha some, Goolisan!

Always happy to have another headlamp in the house. We keep them in kitchen and garage and find ourselves reaching for them. This set doesn't have any clips or buckles among the strap, it's just a stretchy function that is always anchored.

In practice, though, the experience is held back by unclear controls. What worked - Fit and adjustability: It fits OK and the adjustment works well for positioning. - Charging/arrival: It arrived somewhat charged, so I could test it right away. - Basic comfort: It feels reasonably secure during initial use. The main issue: operation is unclear There were no instructions explaining the two switches on the device. That meant I had to figure everything out through pseudo-operation by trial and error. Even after experimenting, some functions and modes remain unclear, and I'm still not confident about how to control it reliably. Because I can't clearly interpret the button controls, I remain unclear on operational button control, not confident, and not happy using it yet, despite the fit and adjustability being fine. Verdict If you're willing to spend time figuring out the controls yourself, it may still be usable. But if you want something you can pick up and operate confidently without guesswork, the lack of switch instructions makes it frustrating.
