I had to charge them with the cord for the first use, they work great and come on as soon as it's dark, on their own. Solar power works great when the sun comes out. They look great on my shop
Work great "IF" you put the solar panel in as much FULL SUN as you can. I think mine run about 5-6 hours at night, 4-5 hours is fine as it is in a special area where we sit and talk. We don't need them on all night. If you have a large area to string the lights you might want to buy the 50 foot set. We got the 35 foot and it was perfect for our area. You get one color sort of a mello yellow light, there are no other colors. The remote works good up fairly close. I like them, they were a nice touch for night time talks and beer. I strung ours between two trees, and used strong nylon ties to secure them. They do give some screws if you might need them.
They were easy yo install. I did it myself and their illumination at night is very bright after a sunny day.
these are for my daughter for her to hang up and replace the colored ones for Christmas around her entire yard hopefully I have enough if not I will order more on the same ones she will like these very much because I do thank you
Perfect for my Gazebo. Love it!
Love the different settings on these lights and that they are solar powered or chargeable by USB.
Pros: Easy to install and charges either solar or USB Cons: DIM! If you are using them solely for decoration, then maybe. But if you are counting on getting some light out of them, get something else. I returned mind.
beautiful for three days. I wrote the seller to ask about buying an extension. after 3 days, the string died. i did what everybody else woukd do. adjust the solar panel, make sure the lights are screwed on... forget it. the recycle bin is the next stop for this waste of money.
These really do not charge in winter, no matter where you hang them, and they are not very bright even with two strands. I think they need a bigger solar panel, some sort of battery maybe, not sure. You'd be better off buying traditional string, lights and setting up your own solar panel.
Stoped working after 7 months, out of window for refund.
