DC Comics Multiverse Justice League Aquaman

We really love how realistic this figure is. His eyes are bright, he has a realistic looking facial expression. His eyebrow is even raised and has a slit in it! The detail work and texture of the armor makes him look ornate. Even the detail of the hair has loads of texture and makes him look like he just came out of the water. Very cool. When playing, we love how he can be positioned stand by himself. The rotating waist, wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles allow Aquaman to get into many positions. For true fans, his Trident/Spear has five prongs just as in the movie. It also fits into his hand easily without falling out. We were, however, disappointed that his head does not rotate due to hair and shoulder pad. And this may be nit picky, but the single colored Trident/Spear lacks in some texture in the middle but has nice details at both ends. It is just a bit of a contrast to the rest of the highly detailed figure. The real kicker? The best part of this whole toy is the Steppenwolf boot. My kids are begging to get the rest of Steppenwolf. Awesome idea. All in all, this is a solid toy. I'd be proud to give it as a gift. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a good movie figure. I guess it's as good as it can be all things considered. I don't care for the costume design. Would have preferred a better nod to the classic Aquaman. I don't need orange and green spandex but it would've been easy to create an armored atlantean design which better reflects the classic. Figure has good articulation. The Trident weapon is just bland
