DCA1820 Dewalt 20V Battery Adapter for Dewalt 18V Tools Compatible with 20V MAX XR Lithium Battery

It worked as advertised. It plugged into my older Dewalt 18-volt tools without any problem. I could then slide in a new 20-volt Dewalt battery and continue using my older Dewalt tools without having to go and buy new 20-volt tools. The 18-volt tools seem to work fine with this adapter and a 20-volt battery. It also saved me from having to try to find older Dewalt 18-volt batteries and it also has a USB charging port for my phone that works great when I'm out in the field working without a 120AC Volt plugin and charger. The USB port charges my phone with just the adapter and a 20-volt battery when not on a tool leaving me to continue working using my 2nd adapter and 20-volt battery while my phone charges.

I am glad I found this adapter and my 18v tools work perfect with the new 20v batteries. The review I read about release being difficult was true. After examining the reason it was difficult to release I found that specific pressure applied to end area of release (not center) solves it. I am glad I made this purchase !!

It works it's nice to be able to use the older drills and impacts without having to buy the old batteries now everything I have uses the same batteries

Take some time to get used to this other than that works great better than having to purchase a new tool

Perfect converter so you can use your older Dewalt tools that are still good but your older batteries are not holding a good charge . If your like me and have some new dewalt tools with good batteries, well you can now put your 20v batteries right on your old favorites with this simple inexpensive adapter. And this thing works flawless and it's rugged in a simple design.

Product seems to work good. It can bring back to life your old 18v Dewalt tools. The lithium ion batter seem to charge better, last longer and power the tool better. Have circular saw never has much with 18volt original batter even with full charge but with 20v ion batter has much better cutting ability - stronger, longer cut time, and can handle a thicker cutting board

My old batteries don't work anymore. These replacement batteries let me use my old battery tools again.

Beautiful product and packaged well HOWEVER it does NOT work. To make things worse it will not disengage from my $50 battery. I am hesitant to attempt to force it off because it will surely damage it but more importantly it will damage my high price new battery. I can not adequately express how extremely displeased I am. I should receive a full refund!

the batteries did not hold charge long enough to use all day. did not charge after 2 times. i am giong to send back.
