I'm so excited to do this with my daughter! She loves squishys and she's going to get to create her own! I highly recommend this kit! It's neat and comes with all of the accessories that you need to do it! Perfect for interaction with kiddos!
To be honest it was a little smaller than I expected when it arrived. But I bought this for my 8-year-old daughter, and she had an absolute blast with it! She played with it for two days straight and was so excited to show me everything she made. The only thing I didn't like was that even after the squishies were fully dried, the dye still left color on her hands (and face!). It was a little messy. But honestly, seeing her come to me with her stained cheeks so proud of her little creations made it totally worth it. Even with the mess, the joy it brought her made me happy I bought it. Because she enjoyed it so much, I would definitely recommend it to other parents — just be ready for a little cleanup.
My kids had a lot of fun making the squishies! It's a cute and creative activity, but they definitely needed my help because the mixture is very sticky, so supervision is important for younger kids. The first squishy didn't come out right, but after that they understood the process and the rest turned out much better. It takes a little practice, but it's fun once they get it. The only downside is that there isn't a lot of material in the kit. It makes only six squishies, so with two kids they only got three each and wanted to make more. It would be nice if the kit included extra supplies, because buying two kits can get expensive. Overall, it's a fun craft idea and the kids enjoyed it — just be ready to help and expect a little mess! 😊
It takes forever to dry. Way longer than it says. They stay really sticky unless you sprinkle with the fuzz or baking soda. Also if you want to layer colors you have to wait for the color to completely dry but why you are waiting the rest of your gel is drying too. I got as a gift for my 8 year old so a little disappointed for the price.
I would definitely recommend kids doing this be 10 because my 7 %26 8 year olds had a tough time turned into a me project very quickly. I had a hard time getting the details right and timing things right so the colors didn't mix, especially with the Oreo. one of the mixes had a leak and created a mess before we started unfortunately... but all in all the kids loved it even if it was just them watching me do it. they are pretty excited about their squishy's. so I'd say kids will love it just read the instructions really well and be prepared for a bit of a mess.
Wish I could give 0 ⭐️. Tried multiple times to do this and each time it remained liquid. Never set. Stirred for time stated and even longer but never could get this to work. It just made a huge sticky/tacky/oily mess we threw the whole kit out much to my child's disappointment. DO NOT BUY THIS SET!
DO NOT BUY THIS! I seen the price had dropped from $20 some to around $12 so I figured I'd give it a try, my daughter was so excited, as was I because we love taba squishies and have many and have made some before. The packets barely make anything. your using two packets per "1" small taba. it's ridiculous. secondly, to help release the taba I used Vaseline on the mold and it still stuck terribly!!! the rabbits ears ripped right off! it does not tell you any clear instructions on how to use the colors and glitter they give. All in all it was a huge let down and very upsetting. I planned on taking a picture but got so frustrated with it ripping I just threw the mess away.
It's not easy to make for the kids and the colors merge with each other. The waiting time is a lot. They came out terribly. Would return if I hadn't already used.
These never fully set. I tried after my daughter did because I thought she did something wrong but they would never set
absolutely horrible!!!! do not buy! Walmart wouldn't refund my money without receiving the used product. I even confirmed that they wanted me to send back liquid and yes. no refund without it. what a complete waste of time and money.
