He loves it

smilesnlucky January 1, 2009

I bought this as a christmas present for my husband, and he's absolutely loved it. The mat it comes with is usually 30 dollars all on its own, so for getting that plus the game, I think it's very decently priced. He says he is quite addicted to it and we both like the fact that it teaches you how best to manuever yourself on the mat. We are very pleased with the purchase! Him especially.

Is A Really Great Product!

AMD27 November 19, 2008

This is a really great product because you have a great time with the video game. In this video game you get a lot of exercise without even knowing it. It is really great to have at a party because when I threw one all my friends and family loved the video game. This game was made for an fun interaction and everyone can get involved with this video game. Ever since I got it I am satisfied with it and I would recommend it to everyone.

DDR Fan

Rateitright January 28, 2009

This game is so much fun! It's a workout without even noticing it because you're having so much fun. I would and have recommended it to friends and coworkers. It costs a little more than other Wii games because of the mat controller but it is definitely worth it.

Excellent Cardio Workout

camssister January 21, 2009

I bought this game as a workout product until Wii Fit is available again. The funny thing is that it's SO much fun, I barely feel like I'm working out and am in no hurry now to get the Fit!!! I also work out twice as long as I used to just because it's so addicting. Everyone that comes over and dances wants to get it. I haven't tried hooking up to the PC yet so can't comment on that but intend to one of these days. I'm hoping I can get more songs. The only negative thing I can say is that the dance mat that comes with it is pretty lame. I recommend buying the 1" thick mat sold separately. Your feet will thank you!

Dance Up A Sweat

Beachcomber15 January 11, 2009

Bought this for my girls, age 10 and 15. They both love it and enjoy using foot and hand motions. I'm planning on trying it myself ... when no one's around. Variety of levels for any ability. Current and classic music. Glad Wii finally has DDR ... we've been waiting a long time for it. Wish we could find a 2nd dance pad.

A wonderful product

Shay08 December 27, 2008

I purchased this bundle for a 12 and 14-year old boy and girl and they love it. It is a great value. The game alone costs close to the purchase price of the bundle. The mat performs as it should and my children have played on it each day since they received it!

Fun product!

Amierith August 30, 2009

I've been playing DDR for years, and this was the first edition I had bought for my wii. Definitely still the fun game I've known, though the only downside is it feels to me that they tried to utilize the motion sensors of the wii a little too much. The classic game with dance pad was enough for me - adding in arm motions and special arrow effects (that they call "gimmicks") just seemed to add a little too much to focus on to really have fun. But! Thankfully you can turn off those features if you would just prefer to play the old fashioned, dance-pad-only version!

Great Time!

dragonfly009 March 8, 2009

After reading a great number of reviews on here, I still was not sure if this product was worth the money. I decided to buy it anyway. I now find that is is a lot of fun and definately worth the money. It is difficult but I would hope that I would not be able to beat something that was this expensive quickly. I will definately get my moneys worth. It is great exercise, and the songs are good even though it is not the actual people singing it (but if it was, then it would be a whole lot more money). The only complaint I have is that it should have come with more instructions on how to change some of the settings, but I figured it out. And to the people that say it is stupid that you have to use the remote and nunchuk. You don't! You can turn that feature off. I would definately recommend.

Disappointing

GetMoving February 2, 2009

I love to dance and workout with the Wii, but this game is not fun for me. The mat moves around a lot when I'm dancing and I just haven't found it to be as fun as Wii Fit or even Wii Cheer. Maybe I haven't given it chance yet, but I don't feel the dance pad is responsive to my moves (it doesn't help that my mat keeps moving around).

Not Very Exciting

nightingayle December 19, 2008

Being a Wii Fit fan, I was really looking forward to getting this item but was greatly disappointed in the music tracks and lacklust steps. I will admit I'm a novice at this but it certainly didn't get me hooked. In addition, it states you are to use the mat sockless and I had a real problem with my feet sticking to the plastic mat so I ended up wearing socks.
