This dip is dangerously good. I opened it “just to taste” and suddenly half a bag of chips was gone and I was questioning my life choices. Creamy, addictive, and probably the reason I can’t fit into my jeans. 10/10 would relapse again.
This dip is very consistent in taste and quality. It's thick, but a Lay's Potato Chip will hold up to it. Good with a veggie tray, too. Sometimes I will add a teaspoon or so of beef bouillon powder to turn it into French Onion Dip or I'll add a little horseradish if I'm going to serve it with prime rib. Versatile and so good!
This dip is every bit as good as fellow Walmart reviewers stated. I purchased a few, and must say quite enjoyable. I did softened the texture with a vigorous stirring as chips, sadly, were not sturdy enough, but once smooth was u h easier. Would definitely purchase again. 4.5 Stars.
One of the few things in life that hasn't changed. this dip has been constantly great for years,it was a special treat as a kid so we don't buy it often but, when we do it brings back wonderful memories of sitting in front of the TV after school watching the Flintstones.
I tried this dip after the Walmart store brand. This one is better. I used both brands with both potato chips and pretzels. The Walmart brand had a strange taste; not spoiled, just not appropriate for potato chips and pretzels.
This is a good, classic French onion dip. Nice flavor, smooth texture, and it always goes over well at gatherings. No complaints at all, it does exactly what you expect. That said, I usually go with the store brand since it’s a bit cheaper and tastes just as good to me. But if this is what’s available, I’m perfectly happy with it. Still a solid choice and always a crowd-pleaser.
Dean’s French Onion Dip is honestly my favorite snack with potato chips. The flavor is creamy, rich, and has that classic french onion taste that always hits. It has a smooth texture that’s perfect for dipping everything from vegetables to crackers and doesn’t feel too thin or too thick. I keep coming back to this one for years because it’s reliable, tastes great, and makes a simple bag of chips feel way better. Definitely a staple snack in my fridge.
This has been my families goto on French onion dip. This brand was by far the best bang for buck, flavor, texture all of it. We don't go for the bacon style one, the added salt didn't keep the same flavor and texture. But add this to even a scallop potato or a soup mmm mmm new secret ingredient guys! Devil the egg differently!
the taste has changed its not as favorable as it use to be. less flavour. something is missing not enough salt or garlic
I used to be a fan of Dean’s products, but not anymore. I tasted that French onion dip and it went to the garbage a waste of money. I will never buy another batch of that garbage. The label has biodegradable on there or bio something on there I don’t know. I couldn’t make read because the print was small, but they added something in there and it ain’t healthy. I guarantee it. I would recommend that you stay clear of this product and any products that’s got Bio chemicals or other kind of garbage ingredients like GMO that is not necessary. Since the American farmers were took over by corporations, they think they can do anything they want to people they don’t need this garbage and they don’t need to be putting it out on the market for anybody else to eat it. I am very angry.
