Dear John (DVD), Sony Pictures, Drama

This movie is amazing. I have not read the book but this movie made me cry. Amanda Seyfried is an amazing actress, and this movie is just a typical romance film that warms your heart. I cannot wait to show all my friends. I love this movie!

Im collecting all of the Nicholas Sparks movies and things one did not disappoint.

this was a really good movie; i seen as soon as it came out this past feb. It is probably geared more toward the military families, because of its main storyline.i really enjoyed it primarily because of that. channing tatum is awesome; and i think young people will enjoy it as well. just a really good movie/story; with a different story line than i would have thought! can't wait to go buy the dvd today~when it comes out.

This is an awesome movie. I bought it for my 13 year old son and he loves this movie. He said it is very emotional but he still likes it. He is more of a John Wayne movie kind of kid, but really liked Dear John.

I saw this movie in theaters and had to get it on DVD. Now, I read the book and i have to say that the movie didn't follow the book. But overall it's an amazing love story that made me cry at the end.

I do agree with the other reviews that the book was better and wish the movie followed the book a little more. However, it was worth buying this movie just to see Channing Tatum, especially with his shirt off! He is super hot and any movie is worth buying if he is in it.

This was a good movie, I will more than likely purchase it myself and add it to my collection. If you are a n. sparks fan though and/or have read this book you will see that this movie could come as somewhat of a disappointment. The movie didnt follow the plot of the book. The book was amazing and when i started reading it i couldn't put it down, yet the movie (i was super excited to see) wasnt near as good as the book for the reason that the plot was different. if you havent read the book or look outside of the lines of the book you will like the movie.

I am a major Nicholas Sparks fan, and I must say that I completely fell in love with the book. When I heard that a movie was coming out for it, I was super excited. The movie was a dissapointment as for the fact that it did not follow the plot of the story as closely as it should have. Overall, the movie was good, excellent for that matter, but if you saw the book, you probably wouldn't like it.
