Series 1%262 absolutely the best and worth watching; I don't particularly care for the monologue closings(copying Agatha Christie). The next detective in line was a complete incompetent and absolutely useless.
Light-hearted crime drama set in idyllic paradise will keep you guessing. Very talented cast. Well done BBC!!
Gotta start out with Season One. Great show and no issue with DVD.
Good story.
ABC'S series "Castle" was on vacation and my local PBS station started showing this series. I was hooked after the first show. No way is this show even on the same production level as "Castle" But the idea for the show is a good one. Take a by the book London police inspector and drop him on a small Caribbean island, with all kinds of murder happening just around the corner. Add a street smart local police woman and the fun begins. I bought both season one and two. It's not "Castle" but is sure a lot of fun!!!!!
Great British humor with interesting mysteries and fun music. The actors are wonderful. It's not long before you love every character. Good for most ages for while there is a murder in every episode, it isn't viewed. No foul language although the accents can make subtitles essential.
This series has it all. It's a really good "who done it". They don't show you the killer at first like some detective shows do so you get to try to figure it out. There's a little romance, and some funny moments. It's a well put together show that is clean to watch. If you like a mystery you won't go wrong with this one.
Fast delivery to the store and very reasonably priced.
these are some of my favorite movies. the first DVD was defective; we must have missed the last five minutes of the program. other than that, i was very satisifued.
