Absolutely LOVE this bike. 5'1”, 116lbs, purchased a Small w 26” tires. It has been an incredible intro bike! Highly recommended. 21 gears, took a minute to learn but worth it for long rides! The bolts were easily removable to add a dog trailer, and it pulled a dog trailer and 24lb dog and gear no problem.
If you're going for a inexpensive bike to get you through all terrains, then this is the one. Honestly, I was a but bit skeptical about getting a mountain bike for regular commute, but the 21 hear combination that this bike provides is something that makes life way easier. No complaints whatsoever! And regarding the aesthetics, well I can't stop looking at it ❤️
I've never owned a bike that was actually meant for someone my size. I'm 6'3” and have had the same bike for 15 years that was definitely too small for me. The XL frame of this bike made me realize why bike riding always hurt my back. Compared to my old bike, this is fantastic. Add in the price I paid for it ($148) and this is 5 stars all the way. I wasn't looking for anything crazy, just a reliable bike that I can take out with my son, and this fits the bill and more. Super easy set up too.
Very good bike at a great price. Assembly was easy as you can scan the enclosed QR code and view the detailed video. However, I went on YouTube and watched a posted video on how to finish assembling the bike as it comes about 75% assembled. I ordered it Thursday and it arrived the next day! I was riding it Friday afternoon and am happy with my purchase. I purchased a gel cover for the bike seat as it was a little too hard for my liking.
It was very simple to put together! Everything is included! I It only took less than a week to get to me. I had a budget of 200$ for the bike itself and accessories I got everything I needed for only 170! The bike rides smooth, feels comfortable. I'm looking forward to my new biking adventures on it!
large Rockrider mountain bike is perfect for me, I'm 62 years old at 6'5" Well built, easily assembled and I really enjoy riding it. Instructions were very plain but i didn't need them for basic assembly is all that is required. Only negative was the one quick release for front tire was not installed and loosely packaged but easily installed. 5 star quality
Just road for the first time. Assembly was easy if you have ever worked on a bike, except mine was missing the front quick release skewer so there was no way to attach the front wheel. I robbed one off an old bike. The bracket included is not for a water bottle, it goes over the rear derailleur. There is a picture in the item description. Also, most mountain bikes do not come with a kick stand or water bottle mount. That should not be a reason to leave bad reviews. Gearing is about the same as other bikes I have had, if you are going too slow, change the gears to a higher number . If you dont know how to properly set the gears, go watch a youtube video and learn how to ride so you dont tear up you chain or gearset. I will leave another review after a few hours riding.
Used to mountain bike 25 years ago. This is certainly a bike I would have taken down reasonable trails. The front quick release was not entirely together in the box, I got ahold of the company and asked for a replacement, they told me no and to take it back to Walmart.. I ordered one for $5 it was an easy fix. Seat is certainly not the most comfortable, I prefer trigger shifters over twist shifters, derailer hardware is not the best. For the money, and throwing a little bit at it in upgrades, you won't do better for under $500 for an aluminum frame.
Easy to assemble, nothing broke or missing, seems to be high quantity. Very smooth chain and gears. Only dislike is gear numbers on hand shifters not perfect alignment with actual gear but probably an adjustment with the shifters. Everything works as it came with less than 30 minutes of assembly.
came very late than promised and they deliberately sent a used bike with muds on wheels and reall bad packaging that must have been opened and closed at least twice
