Review: The Deck Impressions OPP Solar Tiki Torch Light, 6-Pack are easy to assemble and were easy to install in my yard. Once fully 'charged' by the Sun they will light up at dusk in a soft yellow tone and flicker as if it were an actual Tiki-Torch. I quite like them, they have a pretty Design on the Lantern part and make a wonderful addition to my Deck. Would definitely recommend and buy again if needed.
I like these Tiki style solar lights that are super easy to install in the ground and require no 12v wiring because they have little solar panels on the top. Of course, this means you need to locate them somewhere that the sun can charge them up during the day, so I have mine along my front walk. These lights also have a photosensor so they only come on at night, also they have a battery that charges up during the day, and an on/off button if you want to turn them off.
I am in love with my Deck Impressions outdoor solar lights. They are very easy to set up. I like that they have batteries as back up. Each light is bright, and makes my patio look amazing at night. I can't believe how affordable these lights are. They look expensive. My outdoor seating area went from dark and blah, to bright and inviting. My family and friends have all commented on how nice the patio is now. Honestly, all I did was set these lights up. They charge during the day, while the sun is out. Then, automatically come on at dusk. I don't have to do anything. I recommend this brand to everyone looking to upgrade the look of their outdoor areas without breaking the bank.
The set of 6 Tiki Torches are packaged very nicely. Super easy to put together. Just twist off the top and then twist off the white cylinder that houses the light to find the on/off switch. The stakes are found inside the plastic tubes. All 6 lights are working perfectly. The amber colored lights flicker to mimic a real flame. I put all 6 in a flower pot until I find the perfect place in my backyard. These lights are mesmerizing to watch. I really like the matte black plastic construction. I think these lights will work well with any decor.
I like the Solar Tiki Torch lights. They are very quick to assemble and breeze to set up. Although there is an on/off switch on the inside (see pic), they are dusk to dawn lights. So no need to worry about turning them on and off. They add a great atmosphere to your landscape (see pic). Although they aren't true Tiki torch lights, they give that feel as the LEDs (see pic) flicker as an imitation to flame. However, if you're going for a true Polynesian or Pacific theme, I wouldn't count on these alone. The plastic stakes are a soft plastic, so do not rely on the stake itself to insert into a tougher landscape. The instructions recommend using a screw driver to first make a hole and then insert to torch light. I would also echo that recommendation. Bottom line, I would recommend these to a friend as more of a compliment to the landscape but not a stand-alone for a Polynesian themed party.
The price is right--6 torches for $30 ish....THey are shorter than I would ideally like, but I knew that going in. They look great and I won't be too upset if they only last the season. You can't go wrong with these.
Make sure the size is what you want. Some are taller
I received the 6-pack of small solar Tiki torches. They're very cute, and super easy to put together and install in the ground. You just pull them apart, arrange them correctly, and put them back together, pull off the top, flip the on switch, and let them charge all day. At night they light up with a beautiful fiery glow. It looks like flickering flames within the Tiki torch. They look really pretty framing the garden beds in the front of my house. The only thing that isn't so great is that they are not and miss as to whether they will turn on at night, maybe they need better batteries.
2/6 lights do not work. Otherwise they look nice. I can fooled my firefighter neighbor thinking I left real tiki fire lights lit.
Lights never worked contacted seller and they NEVER RESPONDED
