Deck Plus White Deck and Fence Screw Assortment Exterior Screws 8 X 2 White Steel

Picked up a pack of deck screws by DECK Plus. I have used other sizes by this company and I wasn't disappointed. This size is 8 x 2 inch. The threads are coarse and the screw shank is heavier and thicker than many of the competitors out there. The screws have a white finish and are rated for exterior use so you can use them on almost any outside project, fences, deck trim, garden boxes, bird houses etc. There are 50 screws so it's great quantity for a home owner or a pro working on a smaller project. I really like that these are a T25 head, nothing is worse than have a Philips head slip out while driving screws and drill into your thumb! This has never occurred with the T25 head and it even comes with a T25 bit!

Every year we go through an awful lot of deck screws while repairing winter damage to our 6' fences that surround round both our garden and small orchard in an attempt to keep deer and bears out. Our fence posts and cross pieces are fairly thick in diameter so we need good solid screws that are made of sturdy metal, not junk pot metal, and are sharp. The Deck Plus White Deck and Fence Screw Assortment fit that description to a 'T'. To start with, they are very well packaged and there does not appear to be a bent one in the entire box. These screws are steel, solid and well made with sharp tips. We used the included T25 (Torx) bit with our Makita Cordless Drill and it worked perfectly. The screws went in fast and straight and stayed securely in the wood. The screws are coated in a white 'paint' that does not chip at all even where the drill bit comes in contact with the slot. All in all we were quite impressed with the Deck Plus White Deck and Fence Screw Assortment and wouldn't hesitate to pick up more whenever needed for more projects around the yard...

These Hillman deck screws are great! I restore furniture, so these screws come in handy when I have to drill more screws into wood to reinforce table and chair legs, edges, corners, etc. I like that they are white because most of the custom furniture I restore ends up being painted white. If I need to paint the furniture a different color, the screws are easily paintable as well. I would highly recommend using these Hillman deck screws when you are fixing furniture, or really any building project. You also get a drill bit as well. Hillman screws are good quality with smooth edges, and I haven't had any issues with rust.

This Deck Plus White Deck and Fence Screw Assortment is perfect for my exterior house repairs. Of course, it helps that my house exterior is white in color ha ha. These Exterior Screws comes in a variety of sizes, so there is always a screw for the job. Most were size 8 wire X 2", but also some smaller. The color is white and they match the siding, trim or whatever I needed fixing perfectly. They are made of steel but being painted, have not bled through. I like steel versus aluminum for exterior work as they tend to be tougher and the screw heads don’t strip. Also, these are put in with a torx type bit that is enclosed for a sure bite and no screw head stripping. So far, I am very pleased with this kit and will be buying more as the jobs continue. A+

I like that they are white and blend in with my paint easily. they are of good quality and a great thing to have on hand because when you need them you'll have them.

Works great for our fence repair. Nice and strong and wears durable. Especially in the rain the fence has held up nice and good. Very easy to use. Would recommend highly for house repairs

Great durable screw great color that blends in. Does what it needs to do. Easy to screw into the wall with a power tool or screw driver. Does the job would recommend.

I have a white vinyl fence and the top caps often come off. I used one of these screws to affix the cap. Problem solved. I like that it comes with the bit in the package. I can see I have a fence rail that may need stabilization-and as soon as it isn't snowing, I'll use these screws to tackle that problem too.

These are made of good quality material. They didnt strip out, and the color was nice on the white walls. It made them not so noticeable, they workrd well with a standard screw driver and electric screw driver.
