These Deck Plus wood screws are perfect for jobs around the house. They are 2" metal black screws that drill in fast without splitting the wood. The box contains 125 screws, a full pounds worth. They have a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion. Great for all those outdoor projects!
I got these for my hubby. He is always repairing and building things around our property. He said these are really good quality and they have come in very handy to have around. He like the size very much, just an all around good screw to have on hand.
The Deck Plus Wood and Fence Steel Screws work great. Being black means they look so much better on a finished project. If you’ve ever had a screw break which is rare but if you do you know it can mess everything up. The Deck Plus screws do have a lifetime guarantee. The best part of the screws is the free bit that comes in the box. No more hunting for the right tip for a screw. For someone who does a lot of handi work this is a blessing. Crafters will tell you it saves an enormous amount of time.
I used these screws to repair a privacy fence and gate. The box of screws was almost the perfect size for my project. It is green treated lumber and these screws work for treated lumber. The original screws were green and these are black but they are close enough that no one will probably notice after the lumber ages. They are torx drive so they go in easy and with little slippage. The length is perfect for going through the fence planks and into 2X frame. When I need to do more repair I will certainly plan on using these again then.
I put these screws to work immediately winterizing my shed for my animals. I used these screws to secure plywood over wire covered doors once it got cold. They did not strip, and held perfectly. I appreciate that they are coated so rust will not be an issue.
These screws are very well-made and very sturdy. I had to secure a loose board on my deck and these screws did a great job with no problems. They held the board in place tightly and I'm very satisfied with their quality.
Strog, works great, perfect length. This size could not be found anywhere else.
The screws had good holding power and drove through the deck boards as expected, biting into the treated joists and securing the deck. I will say that these screws are the minimum size I would consider using to secure 5/4 (1") treated deck boards to supporting joists. Normally, I use Hillman #9 X 2 1/2" coated deck screws, but these are adequate especially when the deck is protected from the elements under a canopy.
I have used many deck screws around the farm. the star head is suppose to be easier to install or remove. I usually strip out a lot of bits. These deck and wood screw' preform As well as any other I have purchased.
These dekmplis wood and fence screws work well enough to get the job done. They seem to be able to hold up about 25 lbs of weight before bending. My SO used these to build a shelf for the garage and I set some extra weight on the shelf and it began to come out of the wall and break. He didn't put a support piece under it but it was attached in a corner to both walls. Keep an eye out for these, definitely use proper support for things you plan to put some weight on.
