Not as expected
Based on the photo, you might assume that this is has grooves carved into it, and you might assume that someone used an aging technique such as sandpaper to give it an antique look. On both points you would be wrong! In actuality the entire design is screenprinted on the front. Which is fine if that's what you want or are expecting but it was not as I had expected based on the description and photo. What's worse, my item arrived with a big blotch in the center where the screenprinting was done improperly. And there was a rough texture across the screenprinting that was unpleasant. For hanging this item on the wall, there are two hooks in the back. Unfortunately they are placed at the very top, which limits your options for mounting and it comes with no external mounting hardware so you have to figure out on your own how you want to attach it to the wall.
